The reason it's Rizzo is because his presence alone on the diamond brings something to the team that cant be quantified with any standard or advanced metrics. It's starting atleast 160 games and never once giving it less than the full effort. Its the motivation he brings to the players around him. Its the fact that he can make a club as good as it can be and still be a humble likeable character on and off the field.
