I'd leave Southee of ODIs full stop, but keep him in squads. We have a far lighter schedule than England so it's possible for Southee and Boult to play all 3 formats, albeit rotation. Which is now possible because there's a decent stable of quicks that can be rotated.
Seriously though, I'd drop Boult from all pyjama cricket this summer and get Bond or Allan Donald to work with him on getting his pace and length back. Ditto Southee.
In the future I can see Southee becoming less relevant in pyjamas but he'll still keep Henry out of the team in tests.
