Problem is, even when Ramsey was playing badly, you could see that he was TRYING to do certain things (but failing). Ox doesn't really seem to be showing any promise and he clearly has regressed.

I want to be proven wrong though; I'm not one of those to just say our own players are irredeemably shit, as it's surely best for our current players to develop instead of bringing in more players.

Your mind is calm
Nothing but football matters
Years of practice on the streets of Paris are engraved in your soul
The ball dances to the fleet of your feet
You've travelled the world to prove you're better than your generation
The greatest manager in your nationโ€™s history has given you & one of your bros your dream shot
From a small broke club in Lens to the big time
Training starts off easy
Olivier, Laurent, Mattheiu, Mesut & Theo along with the rest of the club are so welcoming
Theo, Calum, & Alex even took you & Yassin to get haircuts
Wenger even smiled when you dribbled around Flamini's two-footers four times in a row
Theoโ€™s been really awesome about telling you how everything works
See Ozil perform perfect throughballs to Theo
You gotta get him to show you how to do that
Trade Mesut your signed red card and boots combo from Flamini for goat vision lessons

FAST FORWARD TO THE WOLFSBURG

Dribble, dragback, cut left, pull right, burst past the tackle, donโ€™t overhit the pass
BANG! Your new teammate barely missed out on getting you that sweet assist
Gameโ€™s over but youโ€™re so happy that we got a dominant win over those Lyon cunts
Wengerโ€™s praises me and Iwobi
Tells me the next day that you get to start
Things start off rough
They keep kicking you from behind because Francis wasnโ€™t there to kick them back
Mikel was already tired because some Ginger cunt kept dragging him all over the pitch
Iโ€™ll show that waffle what happens when you fuck with El Capitano
You bait him with the ball to lure in a tackle
Then in one smooth motion pull the ball back and dribble away like a boss
Game is still 0-0
Theo tells you to relax, everything will be fine
You manage to pick up the ball where Mesut normally was
shimmy right, evade the tackle, then perfectly weight the ball
THEO SCORES
>tfw you only wanted to make your new bros happy
>tfw your first assist was to Theo
>tfw he says thanks Jeff that was the best ball of the day
>tfw that Theo feel is the neato feel

stop being a pussy. yeah we know that having city ~5-6pts behind right now would be a hell of a lot nicer than 3pts behind, but given that the prem as a whole is down and arsenal is #1 right now only because a proper ~85+ pts team hasn't established itself yet = it never was gonna be this easy to just drunkenly stumble into a PL title.

>city has 10 goals in the last ~15mins of PL games this year

they ARE asking for it.... and since they're basically going to win it by default if nobody else steps up and takes the prem, it's up to >us to exorcise some demons and take the fucking EPL.

honestly once arsenal got their 3pts today my weekend couldn't be ruined by city getting 3pts, it could only be helped by them getting less than 3pts. that didnt happen. still a solid weekend IMO.

now stay in the FA cup and dont drop pts to liverpool/stoke and we'll go from there.

i have to admit that his first month with arsenal got me hyped up enough to roll the dice and make my 14-15 home kit a CHAMBERS/21 kit.

i figured that i'd either be ahead of my time or end up with a suitably hilarious kit like my invincibles-era BENTLEY/37 kit. i know it's possibly tryhard/hipster, but i found it amusing when i did the FA cup final at the local arsenal bar and i was the only guy there literally rockin a bentley =D

>TLDR = i think he's cromulent/useful squad depth and i'd honestly rather see what he can do @ DM (in a pinch) as opposed to trotting out arteta.

that said, he scares the shit out of me @ RB and i'd rather see the archbishop of banterbury get recalled to back up bellerin than know i'm going to see every winger and their mom get baseline every time against chambers @ RB (shit positioning / no recovery speed / walking yellow card like he's the natural flamini replacement after this season)

uhhh anon, obvious b8 aside you know that arsenal is actually a squad that will continue to give ox/wilshere/welbeck/walcott chances over guys like campbell/etc just because of >MUH ENGLISH CORE and all that, right?

specifically with ox and campbell.... look at how one guy (ox) has basically been given chance after chance after chance to go out there and prove he's mostly (injured) shit since the age of 19 over campbell, who 2bqh has done a pretty solid job of AT LEAST not shitting the bed when given actual playing time out there.

personally i think campbell could even prove to be "arsenal quality" if he continued to get minutes.... but look at today's squad... once ox is back and fit campbell is totally an afterthought cuz >we owe it to ox to prove arsene right or something.
>>
>>64633071
>record aften ramsey was moved to the middle

And he's partnered with shit in the middle with cazorla and coq out.

I don't mind him out wide either, as long as he's in the team, everything's good. Offers so much to the side

also

>>64633071

wtf are you smoking and where can i get some? how the hell can you possibly come to that conclusion about ramsey? i think you waste him out wide cuz the thought is that he HAS to be on the field so when your CM situation is set you'll force him up @ RW.... but then he doesn't have the natural pace of a winger, and since his offensive game works best when he can take a few steps into the box and uncork a proper straight-away belter (see: 2014 FA cup final) having him on the wing takes that away and basically leaves you with an overglorified tap-in-specialist who needs to be in the right place in the right time to get goals.

not to mention ramsey's workrate and marking/tackling is best utilized @ CM and that's where you get "the complete midfielder" who after 13-14 still has a tendency to go hollywood on you, but can be a !!!!! offensive threat when he lets the game/shots flow to him naturally (again, see 13-14. for the most part since then he's been trying to force his offense via hollywoodery.. and how has that turned out?)

>TLDR = disregard me; i suck cocks
>>
>>64633071
This is completely false
>>
in addendum, i wanna point out that it doesn't help that arsene basically sees RW as the veritable LF (left field in baseball) of the starting XI.... in other words in baseball when you have a player who's terrible in the field/defense and you want to "hide" him at a position to minimize any potential butchery from his shit defense, you stick him in LF cuz the thought is that LF is the easiest/least-important defensive position for a guy who is shit out in the field.

now i'm not saying that RW is necessarily where you try to "hide" a bad player, but i think arsene sees it as the one position where you can play another player out of his best/natural position (CM, #10, striker) because arsene is definitely not afraid to go with a cazorla, ramsey, wilshere, or even welbeck/walcott/(ideally-CF) @ RW when he's got a proper #10/winger/striker situation.

seriously, if everyone was healthy (laugh track here) you know that arsene would probably try to start ramsey/wilshere/cazorla (whoever isnt starting @ CM) @ RW as opposed to walcott, welbeck, ox, or especially campbell.... even tho i think there's more merit to developing a proper RW than trying to force in ramsey/wilshere like you gotta have messi on the field somewhere, you know?

...then he says it should take about a season or two before he finishes developing into a proper CF/striker

holy shit guys that 07-08 video was genuinely depressing to see how good eduardo was back when he had two legs. and then by the time you start getting into 08-09 it's the samir nasri show.... yeargh.
>>
>>64633939

i'm not saying that ramsey is necessarily "shit" @ RW, i'm just saying that not only do i think that you get the best out of him @ CM, but you also have a stronger XI when you have an actual/proper winger @ RW.

i just used LF as a comparison because the way baseball teams will often toss [whoever] in LF reminds me of the way that arsene will toss in a cazorla/ramsey/wilshere @ RW when the team is having a fitness crisis (not to be confused with an injury crisis)

but hey, you know i should obviously just eschew any thoughts i might have in favor of rubberstamping people who say "NUH UH RAMSEY IS AWESOME" cuz they said so.

touche... in fairness you watch these season review videos and they'll focus on someone's ~3-7 game goal streak and talk them up as the future of arsenal.... but then on the other side of the coin they won't even mention injuries until it's like "[whoever] just came back from missing 4 months with an [injury]" --- so perspective is also fucked.

>>
>>64634168
Our strongest 11 is literally with someone like Ramsey on the wing. Our system is based around such a 'roaming' versatile 'winger' to complement having Alexis on the left.

Just see our record for the calendar year in 2015 with Ramsey there and ozil and Alexis on the other two attacking positions behind the striker.

i never said that RW was for "hiding players", i said that the way arsene staffs it REMINDS me of LF in baseball where managers are often keen to "hide players"

in fact here's what i exactly said

>now i'm not saying that RW is necessarily where you try to "hide" a bad player

and again, i'm not saying that ramsey is shit @ RW or anything.... i just think that he's better @ CM and as opposed to having ramsey/wilshere/cazorla @ RW with another one of the two @ CM, i'd rather see ramsey (first and foremost) @ CM and then you try to have an actual ideally-RW @ RW.

but that's just me and i could be wrong....so in your ideal world if everyone's healthy and you've decided that maximizing ramsey's effectiveness/potential > maximizing wilshere/cazorla/walcott/etc... do you start ramsey @ CM or RW to get ideal ramsey?

----coq---cazorla
Ramsey-ozil--Alexis
-------striker

The problem with Ramsey is that he hasn't particularly found an ideal partner in the middle. We haven't seen him and coq tried out properly because injuries have never permitted it.
That could work, and then the rw is up for grabs. Wenger, I think is obvious, was hoping that ox could step up there.

I'd like to see
Coq Ramsey
Wilshere ozil alexis
Striker

Wilshere had a marvelous game on the right against Napoli way back when, and I love him so I'd like to see him get any role in the first 11. But Ramsey, coq and cazorla are just better atm. Injuries have been a bitch for him

Ramsey only looked like he wasn't doing his job because Flamini was so awful. If you watch the game back and watch every time Newcastle come forward, he may as well not be there. Just jogs around out of position until the play's passed him by at which point he sprints over only to leave space somewhere else
Truly a useless player, like playing with 10 men without the ball honestly. Never seen Elneny play of course but it's hard to imagine him not being at least ten times the player Flamini is.

What I love about Ramsey in the middle is that he's a massive goalscoring threat but 2bh we were terribly out of shape there yesterday. Him and Flim flam literally gave the midfield away to Newcastle. 67/76 passes playing in a distributor role for Arsenal (!) is awful. Cazorla used to have at least 80 successful passes in games like this and it's just obvious that our game lacks fluidity without him in CM.
We need both of them to start 2bh. Cazorla has to do the distribooting and Ramsey must somehow figure out how to use his directness effectively from the wing. It started to click before Cazorla and Le Coq got injured.
>>
>>64641930
Well Flamini has been getting a good amount of yellows, once he reaches 5 he's out.

>Arsenal are looking at a ยฃ42m bid for Borussia Dortmund's Gabon international striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 26

Kek. Delusion as usual. He'd go to a big club like Liverpool (European success), Man United (biggest club in the world), Chelsea (despite their performance this season they have European success and multiple big cup wins in last 10 years unlike Arsenal) and City (chance to play with Aguero, Silva, Navas, Toure and so on is better than Giroud, Wilshere, Oxlade and Flamini).

But I guess clickbait be clickbait and gotta make you guys rage and shit since you live for moaning, like the joke club you are. You don't want success for Arselel as it would mean you couldn't be depressive cucks like you want to be.

Yeah, not like any world class player would ever go to Arsenal over Liverpool... oh... wait...

>>64642905
the only reason he would go liverpool is history with klopp - literally no other reason
>>
>>64643141
Any player who'd choose Arsenal over Liverpool must be mentally ill.
>>
>>64643141
Difference is, and if you read my fucking post, is that:

1. There is a world-class manager at Liverpool
2. It's not an old senile cunt who's too much of a pussy to tell his board to fuck off when they grab him by the wrinkly balls and go "no you can't have any money it's gotta fund our cars... I mean stadium!"
3. PEA literally played with Klopp as manager. So why the fuck would he got to Arselel?
4. Liverpool know how to win European Cups, Arselel don't.
5. Liverpool have better history, better fans and better trophy cabinet than Arselel do

Literally the only reason he'd even consider Arselel is due to Sanchez (a guy you stole with like double the wage offer while you scream about City and Chelsea and their wages) and maybe Ozil.

>>64643202
See above, but you got one right so you're better than that Austrianfaggot and the trips.

>>64643210
Now now, let's not go that far, if you were offered double the money to play at one club, you'd be silly to pass on it. I would. It's dirty tactics and it's one of the things Arsecuck fans moan about due to City and Chelsea.

not really, De Gea, Rooney, Mata, and Schweinsteiger all earn at least as much as Ozil. Or Terry, Fabregas, Hazard, Costa, Falcao. Ozil being the highest paid Arsenalite.
>>
>>64625888
Ramsey should be given Coq or Elneny as a partner in midfield
Walcott should bench the lamppost again when Alexis returns
Gibbo just has to wait until Monreal dies
Ox has to get his confidence up again, either loan him out or hope for a brilliant performance out of nowhere
Wele will need time to get back into form, but he's capable backup
Jenko is shite and should be sold or kept as Debuchy-tier backup
Wilsh is pretty good, just unlucky as of late
(please remember, his two last injuries were accidental tackles)

Everything is looking great
Hope Giroud gets a red card or something so he has to be benched again
