If you have a winning fight streak going on you get more points, if you beat a fighter who has had a decent win streak (Ronda, Weidman, Pettis Aldo) you get bumped up a lot, more points if it's a KO/TKO instead of a decision, Holly's had 2 decisions so I reckon that's why she's so low.
Jones and DMJ are so high up cause they haven't lost in a long time and that was also why Aldo was up there.

you need to get beyond this idea that fighters not having their hands glued to their face is a mistake, or that it will prevent them from getting knocked out (it wont). Its one of the biggest myths of striking.

What I like most about Mcgregor is he is one of those fighters that are lifting the lid on what people thought was possible. For a while in MMA, almost every fighter was the same hodge podge mix of muay thai, wrestling and jiu jitsu. For example, Dana says Conor has to vacate the fw title to challenge for lw, Kavanaugh & Conor come back and say they won't vacate but will hold both titles at the same time. The main reason the Fertitas wouldn't want him holding both titles at once would be because it gives him too much leverage, as it obviously would be great for their ppv sales.
