I come to your board, with a couple of stories about a girl I knew, called Summer.
Summer was the younger sister of one of my friends. Their dad had left them at an early age, resulting in both Summer and my friend not having a proper "dad-figure" in their lives. Their mom worked in a local baker, meaning she would almost always be up in the middle of the night, getting the baked goods ready for the next day, and then sleeping when she got home in the evening.
As you may begin to realize, this was no ordinary family. My friend became a deep basement dweller, and resorted to spending the most of his time in front of the computer, playing vidya all night long. When he started at my school, everyone was very interested in him, but despite all the attention he got, he would just ignore them all, leaving after school to play his vidya. Because of this, we naturally bonded throughout the year, and when I found out he also played Team Fortress 2, we immediately became best bros. At this point, I knew nothing about him having a younger sister, and I did not in a million years expect the situation I soon got myself into.
It all started with him inviting me over after school, to play some games on his Nintendo 64.
This was the first time I met Summer.

This is a real story about my life, probably from one of the best/worst times I have yet to experience.
I will keep going with my story, hoping that I'll at least be of interest of others.

All these incidents happened only a couple of years ago, and the "happy ending", which you're referring to, is pretty much the state in life where I am right now.
However, I'll let you know that I'll get to that point eventually. It may be a long and winding road, though, as so much has happened from the time that I met Summer.

At this time, Jacob and I had been friends for about 8 months. Whenever we were together, we would always be playing vidya. However, things started to change a bit between us. When we started hanging out with each other, we would always be talking about the same shit over and over. Weapons being OP, which Pokemons were the best to have on your team, old trivia from games like "Do you remember that scene where..." "Yeah totally, it made the entire game!" etc.
As you may understand, things started to get pretty repetitive when we were together. Because we were both huge introverts, we never talked about people at school or such things, it was always to do with our shared passion for vidya.
Jacob also started to get really comfortable around me, which meant he could go into full basement dweller mode, where he would just be playing WOW for hours, not even caring that I was also in the room. I had brought my old laptop to his house a long time ago, so I didn't care too much about us not talking as much. Whenever he was playing WOW, I would just be browsing 4chan or playing some FPS on my own.
The only thing I was missing, was some human interaction..

The thing is, sometimes things just happens, and a situation can turn totally around from a simple action.
I often sit and wonder what would've happened if I didn't touch Summer at that time.
I would probably have been in the same boat as before, taking care of this entire family. I'm happy about my actions though, even when taking all the shit into account that it left me with.
I've decided that today was the day I told my story. It has been several years in the making, and I've actually thought about 4chan on multiple of these occasions.
I've thought to myself: "Damn, this would fit nicely into an 'something-something'-thread" Never got around to posting them though, as things has always come between me and this board.
Today was the day that I finally got around to doing it. This board is nothing more than a mere shell of what it used to be, so I can understand why my story might sound implausible to a lot of you.
Whether you like it or not, I at least hope it affects some of you. For me, it's probably just a matter of getting a lot of these things off of my chest.
As I've already stated, this is still a story in progress. I'm together with Summer now, and we are writing history every single day. I'll definitely keep posting some of our stories here on the board, as I see some people finding it interesting.
In a couple of days, the story will probably seem way more plausible.
One thing I want you to understand, though, is that things can move incredible quick, incredible fast. I'm sure you'll experience this sooner or later in life, and hopefully you'll look back at this thread, knowing that it all can actually happen. Even for a robot like you and I.
