Comfy threads are my favorite
I have lots of photos that are comfy, but only to me, likely. The context and memories and feelings associated with the photo are what really make it comfy, and sadly you can't share those feelings with other people who weren't there with you.
I used to enjoy threads like these in their early days but now "comfy" as word has lost all meaning on this site. "Comfy" has become just another meme. It's sad to see. Not to mention the same generic or lackluster content that keeps getting associated with it, or even things that have nothing to do with comfy at all. The quality of posters has also gone down the drain.

I would say that The Hobbit is the most 'easy' to read, so maybe start there? It is also chronologically before LOTR so i suppose it makes sense.
Some people find Tolkien quite hard-going, especially things like the Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales, so i would leave those to last and only read them if you got on well with LOTR.
As for editions, since i prefer slightly battered books to crisp new ones i just go on ebay and filter by price and used condition and find ones that i like the look of. I dont really know them in terms of 'so-and-so was printed in x year by y company', so cant really advise you on that. Just find ones you like the look of best

Autumn always lovely, lots of yellow and red leaves on trees, and scattered about. Winter tends to be a bit more grey, and snowy, which I personally like but I know some people might not. Spring fucks me up because I have allergies, but even through my bloodshot eyes seeing the fields of yellow and all the flowers in full bloom, it's quite a sight. Summer gets a bit too hot for my taste, can get up to the 80's Fahrenheit, though if you like sunlight this is pretty much the best time of year to go. Hope this was helpful .
