We haven't reached the point of no return. The next 10-20 years we will if we don't do anything about it, which Trump will not do anything. So when we are all old, our children will be breathing lead in the air.

well for every one that believes in climate change you understand that it takes decades for any emissions to get high in the atmosphere. they get tossed about by micro currents and the jet stream

point is if the difference between humans getting to live on this planet for another couple of decades is being chosen right now its to late

the rain forest will be depleted and more people in developing nations will drive cars. there will be more fossil fuel burning power plants. if your right its been to late to stop it for 2 decades
>>

The problem with the climate change argument is that the fucking left has pushed their entire agenda on MORE gov spending and bullshit programs that at the end of the day will not make that big of a fucking difference in the grand scheme of things.

Anyone that believes in global warming and use the "97% of all scientist....." argument tell me some actual plans to combat the .3 change in temp and that does not involve some sort of increased gov control.

Solar is technically the best, but you need energy to make those panels. Nuclear is the best way to do so.

World with electric cars, running on nuclear and solar, till fusion comes along is a world we wanna live in.

France is the best example. I think it was 80% of their energy is nuclear.

And it's not just environmental, but also geopolitical. Nuclear + Solar = the collapse of the corrupt Saudi ruling houses, and the end of ISIS funding.

In other words, beating our enemies by starving them, and making the world a better and more peaceful place for everyone.
>>
>>80760615
>The more indoctrinated you are
>>
>>80764431

Solar isn't the best with out current technology, to meet the energy demand you'd need an immense number of panels containing enivronmentally damaged chemicals to take up a deserts worth of surface area.

Solar panels simply aren't efficient in drawing power from the sun, they're more effective for personal use to cut power costs.
>>
>>80764431
Solar energy is shit though, you're better with eolic and geotermic, since they are much cheaper on the long run

>>
>>80764678
>>80764752
With our current panels, the area necessary to power the whole planet on just solar is equal to the area off Spain, ofc we don't gave the resources for that many panels.

Panels are recyclable, and harmless to the environment, and obviously, if more money is put into the RnD of solar tech, it will improve, making them cheaper and more efficient.

There are drawbacks, but it is the best.

Aeolic is good, but it suffers from more limitations than solar as the wind is unpredictable.

Geothermic is only good for heating, not generating electricity, and it's very costly.

All three are great, and should be used in tandem, but solar is the clear better option, as it's yet to reach it's peak, whereas Aeolic has already hit max potential due to 100% efficiency in conversion, and geothermal bwing more costly and destructive than solar. Solar is also portable, making it adept for vehicles.

The drawback of all 3 is storage, though. That's a problem than needs to be solved, and fast. In the meantime, Nuclear Fission is the next best option. It is possible to go nearly full Nuclear, thanks to the new Breeder Reactors, people just need to get over their phobia and educate themselves.

Fossil fuels are out of the question, and need to be totally phased out ASAP.

Bro, Global warming as a result of human activity is a real thing. I support Trump too, but this is the one thing I fully disagree with him on.

There is plenty of evidence to support this fact that you can look up online. There is evidence from all sides in fact, s lot of which has misinformation that's propagated on both sides. Since both sides have private economic interests. But I would encourage you to look for the most objective scientific studies, and draw your own conclusions.

A good start is Wait But Why's post on Tesla, since all his sources are cited, and you can begin digging from there, but don't be absurd, it's legit. We can't continue to burn fossil fuels like this much longer. Nuclear is the best option for now.

It's not as simple as, the climates always change, a change in climate is always caused by something. Read up more on the topic as you're oversimplifying a very nuanced point.

Nuclear and solar companies who also gotta spend it on RnD? Or the massive oil companies that have funded wars, and control the world?

Who loses everything if we get electric cars? Who loses everything if the status quo is changed?

You're buying into red herrings funded by oil companies. Use your head dude. Climate change is real, and the elite don't give s fuck as they're rich enough to be unaffected by it. The best way for them to secure a future for their children is by leaving them an economic legacy. There have been 6 mass extinctions on this planet. One was caused by excess CO2 caused by a specific bacteria. It was the first one.

It won't kill all, but all the mass extinctions have killed at least 90% of life.

Needless to say, it COULD kill humans. But that's speculation. And it's a matter of heated debate among the scientific community.

We don't know the consequences of it, or how dire it could be. All we know is that climate change as a result of human activity is real.

Idk about you, but Id rather not gamble to find out who was right.

The problem with all climate models, as any statistician will tell you, is that there isn't enough real data. Everything is an estimate based on assumptions. Nobody has proven anything past a correlation between co2 and global temperature. Statistical models are physically incapable of addressing causation. Controlled experiments are MANDATORY for statements about causation, but every single climate shill says there isn't enough time and we'll all be dead by then.

Gunboat diplomacy is always a mistake.

Too bad every leftist party, including hernie sanders and jew stein of the green party OPPOSE nuclear energy because "it's dangerous to the community!!!!".

Of course republicans and democrats are the same shit. I wouldn't vote R ever unless it's Trump. He's not even that conservative compared to Cruz or Rubio.

>The solution is electric cars + nuclear energy

And of course you fail to mention how electric cars are made, including those batteries. Batteries which are made from POISONOUS METALS that seep into the earth during all stages of that battery's life (production, shipment, usage and disposal). In addition, battery technology still has 30+ years before it will reach the base efficiency of internal combustion engines, and that's the hopeful side.

Your actual best bet is to realize that the best incentive for "green" technology is for condensing the population into Tokyo-level urban density for maximum public transportation, and to exterminate the 1.5 billion niggers on Africa who contribute far more pollution to the Earth than 500+ million smart whites.

Run the numbers on energy production. You wouldn't even match aeolic, which is the weakest, with man labor.

It's literally more efficient to put a water wheel by a river and letting that generate electricity.

24 hours, free, no breaks, etc...

However, why use a water wheel, when you can build a dam and generate 1000x more energy? But why stop at a Dam, and instead just makes a Nuclear power plant and have it spin dozens of turbines to have it generate 1 million x more energy than the dam.

Oh yeah, because Nuclear energy is bad because the Rockefeller media told me so.

They also told me climate change is lie funded by the government.

>car batteries are poisonous
Except Lithium Magnese ions only have a slight toxicity, less than that of Mercury which is found in various products, and isn't harmful when contained within the battery and fused with Lithium Cobalt.

These materials can be found and mined in natural deposits, and are recycled, preventing damage to the ecosystem, and lowering the costs of manufacture, as lithium is a costly mineral.

Fyi, despite being toxic, lithium is ingested by patients with bipolar disorder to regulate their emotions, and they do just fone.

Don't just spit buzzwords you hear, learn what people actually mean when they say "toxic" you can touch it and still be fine.

Or are you one of those people who freak out about the radioactivity of magnetic Thorium deposits along certain California coastlines lying out in the open. Yeah, that black sand? That's thorium, it's radioactive, but it won't kill you in such small concentrations, you'll be fine.

>battery technology
Except Tesla cars are efficient enough for daily commute and long trips, and with superchargers and wireless charge road segments which recharge your car for free, it becomes a non issue.

With the Model 3 (was it?) electric cars are officially more viable than gas cars.

Chevy, Mercedes, and various other companies are underway making equally viable electric cars.

Then inform them if they're done being bigots and racists, that if they had any sort of compassion for the people of the developing world they would allow them to pursue their own industrial and economic goals free from the constraints of carbon taxes and environmental restrictions placed upon them by the developed world.

The kicker is that the effects of the graphs we show here can be readily observed by all, the commonly observable effects of global warming are less than negligible

It's about the fact that I don't wanna choke on smog and tailpipe emissions like pic fucking related, and then suffer the environmental consequences from natural disasters and droughts.

We share this planet you fuck. If one nation fucks it up, they fuck it up for all of us. What the fuck do you think will happen when rivers and lakes start drying up? How will you irrigate crops? Desalination? And what will that do to the cost of FUCKING EVERYTHING? You're voting Trump as a working class millennial like the rest of us, who promises more jobs, but do you really think you'll be able to afford food and water say.... 20 to 30 years from now?
But look, let's leave the environmental bullshit aside, and look at it geopolitically.

What is the one nation who has pretty much fucked us all?
Saudi Arabia
Who are the people in charge of this country and where does their money come from?
What funds international terrorism?
Why do western politicians kiss ass to the Saudi Princes?
What do the Bildabergs and other corrupt multinationals have their investments in?

The answer to all this is FUCKING OIL

You wanna stick it to the establishment, knock down the Saudi houses, and end the funding for international terrorism, essentially destroying ISIS and ending conflict in the Middle East in one fell swoop?

Well, then how about starting with ending the West's dependancy on fossil fuels?

Again Nuclear and EVs, the tech is here already.

And before you cry "it's not possible": France.

They're oil imports are only for transport. And with the EV, they'll soon be fully independent, as, unlike idiot Germany, they're building more plants.

These are career scientists putting their reputations on the line, publishing lengthy scientific reports you yourself can read if you can stomach the jargon.

Not tinfoil hat theories spread by "scientists" in order to misinform and confuse the masses.

In other words, "I got offered a well paid position in this electric company once I leave office if I pass this law, so get fucked citizens. "

Meanwhile in the rest if Europe and the US governments are subsidizing the costs of investing into solar or EVs by giving people Cashback to incentivize said purchases.

THAT'S corruption for you.

You could literally power your house and car for free, but the Spanish government says you get fucked and pay extra taxes if you try.

>>80783915
Nuclear energy is not pushed by the media AT ALL.

It's the most slammed by nearly all entities.

And tHe media isn't one body, a lot of it is pro fossils still, and heavily bash EVs, while still having addsxfor brand new gas cars.

I agree on the last bit, but Nuclear is available now, Abd able to be mass scales to fully replace fossil fuels while green energies improve. Switch cars to EVs, and the next 30 years are clean.

Also, I should note that NONE of the research I posted about ITT is ever talked about in tge media, because it's too nuanced for your average dummy to 'get it' and the media hates nuanced points.

It's because it's nuanced why you have people ITT assuming ALL climate change is natural, despite there being evidence of a spIke in CO2 and temperatures since the 1800s as a result of human activity.

We are at 400 ppm CO2 now, the earth was covered in lush forests and jungles when CO2 was at 2000 ppm and much higher average temperatures.

To reach 2000 ppm we will need to keep burning fossil fuels at the current rate for atleast another 400 years adn even then we would have just reached optimum CO2 levels for plants.

Except past a certain temperature you create a domino effect as water vapor is also a greenhouse gas, and with hot enough temps, you get an increased evaporation of ocean water which perpetuates more and more of this at an unstoppable rate. Temperatures continue to increase as more water vapor traps heat from the sun, which evaporates more water, etc... you'll still have oceans ofc, but many lakes and rivers would dry up, killing the crops.

And even if it rains a lot of the water remains in the sky as a greenhouse gas. Look at Venus as an extreme example of this.

How long till we get to Cambrian temps? Who knows. But the tipping point will come in a few decades if don't turn around, and at that point, nothing will really stop the domino effect, and immediately consequences will be felt, with more droughts, and more frequent and violent tropical storms.

You had lush forests during the Cambrian and Jurassic eras, cause the plants of those eras were adapted to those conditions. They wouldn't survive now, most of them, same as most plants and crops of now wouldn't survive under those conditions. Cambrian and Jurassic Temperate were too hot for Human life.

If we got to that point, most life on this plane would die out, and new life better fit for those conditions would take hold.

I was stating the utmost extremese we can still go to without any of this shit happening:

>A vote for Trump is a vote to end all life on earth.

>You do realize that w/o the Ozone, all whites are going to cook from the inside out from the unfiltered UV radiation right?

Besides that is just when life started to explode and diversify. It doesn't mean that no mammals can survive.

Mammals will definitely be fine up to 3000ppm
It is literrally a 0.26% difference in total CO2 from what it is now.

CO2 increases this much when you are in a room ful of people breathing.
>>
>>80788148
1,000-2,000 ppm Complaints of drowsiness and poor air.
2,000-5,000 ppm Headaches, sleepiness and stagnant, stale, stuffy air. Poor concentration, loss of attention, increased heart rate and slight nausea may also be present.
5,000+ Workplace exposure limit (as 8-hour TWA) in most jurisdictions.

That whole bottom half is wrong.

And whatever survives into the future, we can be certain most of the current life, including humans, would go extinct due to how balanced the ecosystem is.

Crops die, killing various animals, and diminishing resources for humans, Abd so on and so on.

People are freaking out cause tge bees might die out, and how that'll fuck us. Now imagine if half the plants and animals we depend on for survival just go extinct. How would that affect Hunan life?

As I said earlier ITT, there have been SIX mass extinctions on this planet so far. The Cambrian one in fact being one of them. Do you really wanna perpetuate number 7?
>>
>>80789101
If that domino effect did not happen at 7000 ppm with average temperatures almost double what it is now, WTF would it happen now?

The human race needs culling.

Less humans = less resources required = more habitat for fauna and flora.

Try archaeological records and carbon data on icebergs.

Global warming is real, but it's not like the liberals are handling it in an effective way anyway. We should be putting research into better energy sources to make carbon fuels less efficient, plus it would eliminate the power of places like Saudi Arabia.

Coincidentally, Donald Trump is the only candidate between himself, Hillary and Bernie who is pro-nuclear energy. Bernie is adamantly against it.

Tell me again how you can be a pro-environment candidate when you're anti-nuclear?

No it did not.

Did the earth become like venus?
Did the ozone evaporate?
Was there an irreversable runaway feedback loop?

No

And we are talking about unrealistic extremes here not what is within the scope of our current reality.

We cannot create more CO2 by burning fossil fuels than what already existed in the atmosphere when the CO2 was absorbed.

Ahhhhhh, you're so dumb. I can't keep going with this. It's like talking to a child. Jesus you're so fucking dumb.

Venus was an extreme example, and it has a very different atmospheric structure from Earth, Venus is mostly sulfur which is FAR more dense than any gas on earth. The Earth will NEVER become like Venus, ever, and if it ever did, it would become permanently uninhabitable as the atmospheric pressure alone would crush EVERYTHING.

AND YOUR IMAGE IS DUMB AND WRONG SAND STUPID!!!
ARGH

PLANTS DON'T BECOME OIL, THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS!!!

Plants and animals that became fossilized live by getting swallowed into tar pits during the Cambrian period make up our fossil fuels of today.

We're literally burning the Joules of plants that absorbed it the sun BILLIONS of years ago.

We're fucking done here dude. I'm not continuing this nonsense.

Read the article I posted by wait but why that I linked you to, learn something, and then we'll talk. But this is as far as I go.
>>
>>80791042
Which would lead to human extinction!!

The first effects would be felt this century with droughts and storms. Yeah, South Africa? SA would be FUCKED dude.

From there you can't change it back. You're only hope is to leave the planet at that point.

And Mars. Mars has 1/3 the gravity of earth Abd will fucking kill you slowly.

I deny the assumption that it is man made and that we are responsible for killing teh enviorments, as said by other posters itt it is a natural occurrence.

besides, after green energy becomes viable by consumer demand (which will come when it is efficient) any man made effects will fade away.

No, there is a tipping point. And it won't go away past that point.

Past that point, humanity is fucked lest they leave the planet to a different star system in less than 300 years. Or if we migrate transhumans who can resist Martian conditions to Mars to carry the will of mankind.

Humans with augs aren't cheap, neither is a ticket to Mars, so only the super rich would survive. The richest 1 million people of Earth.

And no, it is manmade. Did you read the shit I posted? How do you deny archaeological data? Do you deny dinosaurs ever existed too?
>>
This is a real person saying this?
>>
No one on earth would really spend time to start this thread. Shill.
>>
>>80792768
>Do you deny dinosaurs existed?
No because I can go and see their bones and touch them, and I can dig them up and sell them, you can't just go outside and go "Holy shit, global warming IS real!"
>>
>>80791621

Tar pits have nothing to do with the chemical composition of fossil fuels you fucking moron.

Fossil fuels is litterally decomposed organic material (plants and animals) exposed to heat and pressure you fucking imbecile.

It is not billions of years ago retard.

And you are just stating the obvious regarding joules from sunlight. How does that contradict anything?

Plants use carbon dioxide and water + sunlight to create hydrocarbons which stores the energy.

When you burn fossil fuels it is these hydrocarbon bonds which are broken and then energy is released with hydrocarbon molecules recombining into their orginal states. CO2 + H2O
>>
>>80793229
Except you can. Feel free to travel to your nearest glacier and measure and carbon date the carbon levels by era yourself.

The Simpleton Science Cucks are at it again. Never mind that cause must precede effect. Never mind that if CO2 increase "reinforced" temperature increase there would be a nonlinearity in the temperature data. But there isn't.

How can you take those paid shills seriously?

>nb4 we already discussed it.
No, you already desperately tried to make it go away by posting a stupid graph that doesn't show the direction of causality.

Its not about climate change its about human caused climate change, the psyop worked well becaused most people hear climate change and associate it with human caused climate change which is not true at all
