Someone edited the second BREXIT petition json file between 10:00pm and 10:30pm.

Above three prove that the signature count did not increase by number signing in the two hour explosion.
Someone edited the file at a point within the two hours. The edit was between 10:10pm and 10:30pm.
Who's got their hand in the cookie-jar /pol/?
First of all, keep documenting everything, and don't rely on web.archive.org to document it for you. If web.archive.org has it documented, save the website data

Send your findings to news outlets, OP. Especially ones like Breitbart London who would be willing to expose such a scam. If enough conservative sources report the scam, the mainstream media will be forced to acknowledge it, too.
>>78734805
UK MP's have been informed.
A few British and American news outlets have been informed.
I assume they'll ignore it as a 'conspiracy theory' despite the proof being undeniable.
Might I add, the edit was done barely a few minutes after I contacted them about suspicious numbers on the json file (as in only 16% were from within the UK).
To be honest, I'm probably a dead man walking.
GCHQ will no doubt have me scrubbed out.

This. I voted to Remain - yes, I know, cuck etc. - but a democratic vote is a democratic vote.
This can't be allowed to happen. Even if only 5 million vote, even it's just 5 million of the losing side, an illegitimate petition like this cannot be allowed to go unscathed.
I regret that my own political views align with those of mad liberals. I always thought people would try and be rational but this clearly not the case.

Email news outlets
Make sure everyone knows that the proof is undeniable
We've caught the government changing signatures for government petitions, we can't let this go, it may be our only chance to catch them undermining democracy
News outlets like Washington post, etc
A lot will ignore it, eg guardian and BBC will take no notice
I've told Farage, Borris, Gove, and some other PMs
I told Daily Mail, Washington Post, and a few others.
Think of viable news outlets, look up contact info and email them
Include the links to archive and make sure they understand the proof
>>78739063

So does that mean that there is supposedly 11k votes from Vatican city, or signed as from vatican city?
If this is really happening, and if your goal is to get the word out, here's how you should do it...
1. Create a blog or a web page that outlines what is going on, which includes multiple screenshots showing the manipulation.
2. Post the link to that blog or web page here.
3. All of us submit that link to the Drudge Reports' "tip line"
If enough people send the same link, someone at his site will notice. And this is the sort of thing he lives for.

The only thing reassuring me about this is that the response is only a fraction of the remain vote's turn out, for now. Hopefully it won't go too high...

Yes, this, so much this. Someone needs to create a page that is well put together and easy to understand.
We also need a clear concise message to send in the email.
The post a list of email addresses to send it to.
If someone streamlines the process like this, not only will it be easier and more anons will join in, but it will also be more efficient.
I have made this suggest at least 5 times now.

This will be discussed in parliament, which is why we need to contact MPs to make sure they can toss it out. If the parliament discuss this and agree it's a good idea, it may very well happen. And next time, they'll make sure Brexit loses - no more fuck ups.

You need Python installed for starters. You need to download mechanize and temp-mail
https://github.com/saippuakauppias/temp-mail/blob/master/tempmail.py
if you can run pip
pip install mechanize
pip install temp-mail
run script and it runs until you stop it.

This is awesome, great work you're doing here.
... I just wonder if this is even worth making trouble about, do you honestly think some fucking petition is going to revert the referendum?
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said manipulation of the petition would not be a matter for police and that no formal allegations have been received

It's kind of tough if you don't have experience.
First, you'll need to install python.
Then, you'll need to look at the script's source code and see all the "import" declarations at the top.
Some of those packages are non-standard (like "tempmail"), so you'll need to find and install those python packages.
And you might not even have a python package installer program ("pip"), so you'll need to install that program first before you can even install the aforementioned packages.
I played around with it for about a minute, and I realized that I don't have the time to track down all the pieces and parts that I would need to run it, because I'm only a very casual python user.
It's probably best to find someone who uses python quite regularly and ask them to run it. Otherwise you'll have a steep learning curve, and a bunch of things to figure out on your own.

They discuss it in parliament. I don't think anything this serious has ever gone through this process before
I don't know what they're up to, all I know is that they're doing it.
I don't know why or how this even helps them that much.
It could be a desperate last attempt?

Doing the right thing sucks, but if it needs to be done someones got to do it. Godspeed man.
Is OPs analysis definitely accurate?
Im trying to clear it up in my head to make sure and its as follows:
Signature_count = the total number of signatures on the entire thing, this includes countries outside of the UK.
The GB signature_count is votes from within the UK.
16:35 signature_count":1765889 || {"name":"United Kingdom","code":"GB","signature_count":354634}
21:21 signature_count":2367548 || {"name":"United Kingdom","code":"GB","signature_count":365483}
23:01 signature_count":2547875 || {"name":"United Kingdom","code":"GB","signature_count":2401768}
These numbers don't make any sense, the GB sig count suddenly jumps up by around 2 million from between 21:21 and 23:01 but the total signature count doesn't increase by a corresponding amount. Does this mean non UK votes were converted into UK votes?
Night lads, it's nearly 3AM.
Make me proud /pol/.

yes
I want to help but i have no clue how, don't let Democracy down /pol/
>>78746713
First paragraph in my post shows two things:
>1. the json file updates normally
>2. there was a massive spike in UK votes. We're talking from a few hundred thousand to more than two million.
The second explanation proves another thing:
>Despite this spike, the number of signatures did not change by even close to this quantity
This means votes were converted.
Someone directly modified the file
Read my story, I explain it happens very shortly after I inform MPs and media

My guess is they saw the bot spam and just approved it. Most of it isn't showing up in the coverage map still so it was likely bad data with just the country code.

Both referendums are non-binding. They have no legal power. Government is not compelled to enforce.act on them.
The outcome is in hands of politicians and Parliament.

Easy, find out who has the ability to manipulate a JSON file on the site. Spam the site with tips and tell media about it. The tips already came in, and if no investigation is done then the site suffers for being a scam. The media has a field day if it's someone working for the company.

This is what the response is, that it's to do with overloading
>People being this retarded
The json was stuck at ~3XX,XXX for literally hours, I was in the earlier threads. The petition was getting 10,000 votes per minute, but the votes per country weren't going up in the json, and the total votes per country didn't match the total votes.
What probably happened is that it only updates occasionally, or there was some back-end issue. What's clear to anyone with a brain is that the json and the total number of votes don't necessarily coincide at once, and the json lags behind the total.
>>78744283
Only 400k of that number are from the UK and most come from Scotland.
The rest are all foreign from as far as North Korea and Antarctica.
