DW English interview with AfD party leader Frauke Petry. I am not a supporter of the AfD, but believe this interview demonstrates more clearly than anything I have seen recently, the bias of the establishment press.
What this interview also illustrates, IMO, is that politicians need to stop attempting to make themselves understood to this breed of ideologically-driven reporter. Petry should either have walked after the first question, or doubled down on her original statement. Something along the lines of, 'how else are border guards supposed to prevent illegal border crossings?' would have been a sufficient response. Instead, to the average viewer, the interviewer comes across as having won the confrontation by forcing Petry onto her back foot. My analysis, anyways.
