This is much better. It's important to remember the contrast or lack of in your shadows in photos. They play a big part in defining shapes and lines which aesthetically separates parts of the image. This still has great potential though.
If you're friends with these dudes then maybe follow em around for some of their shows. I'm sure they'd appreciate the photos.
And as my last point I still think the photo should be flipped and maybe even add just a lil more crop to both sides.

This composition is a beauty. The gradient of the sky adds a nice backdrop. The subject matter is clear, but there's still plenty to look at without being too distracting.
Too give some critique. There is some distraction with the clouds below in the left portion of the photo and the tower on the right makes a lot of the left side feel empty which is juxtaposed to the color scheme within the photo.

Looking at it from this side view has kind of changed my opinion about the shot. The composition is a little weirdly put together as there is no discernible pattern from the subjects blocking and placement. It may just be that the angle you were at provides an impossible challenge, but overall I think the angle does weird things to the feel and subtext of the photo.

Timing my shots when the subject comes into the right place is something that I've been working on. There are some other examples from the same roll of shots that held potential, only to be ruined for the same reason (pic related).
I haven't done processing on any of these. Usually, all I do is color correction for the most part, but I'll see what I can do with processing select parts of the image like you said.
Also, I'm not sure what the burn line on the side is. If I could guess, then I believe it's from the scanning process, since the line isn't present on the negatives themselves. These were done through a local shop, so I'll ask about it the next time I go in.

Ghosting in the water is one of the most cliche things that exists in photography. That being said, the ghosting could work really well here if it drew a better line in the photo because it's almost exactly straight and could have been used in composition.
