cheek pads are actually the part of helmets that seems to "bed" the most.
You want it to be tight around the cheeks, a bit of chipmunking going on and then the helmet will "bed" and they'll be comfortable.
You don't want it to be painful or too difficult to close your mouth though.

Two things to try. One, try putting one finger on each side of the bony part of your nose and pulling the skin outward. It has a small effect, but helps open the nasal passage a little. See if you can pull in any air through there or maybe get some of the crud out. Two, ever use a nasal rinse? That plus Mucinex works fucking wonders.

If I am to believe the receipts of the PO and the OG PO before him, mine is still on the stock clutch plates that have done 230k km.
Even with the werks basket I can still get clutch slap occasionally when taking off at high rpm. I forget to measure the clutch plates the two times I had the clutch case side opened. But maybe I have shit clutch control? IDK. The hydro clutch on the big strom has an extremely tiny friction zone.
