however I will say that as long as you don't chop it up and turn it into a shit cunt cafe racer then that's a nice bike at a decent price, especially if it's in good running order
since it's from the 80s you should expect that you will at least learn the basic maintenance, oil/coolant changes, basic carburetor work, valve lash, fork maintenance, etc. Essentially the basics of owning a motorcycle.
Make sure you check the odometer cable in case it has been tampered with, 3600 miles seems sus for something that's 30 years old. It was probably replaced or it ticked over one or multiple times

I think you can see it in the picture on the ad. It leads from the instrument cluster to the front wheel. There should be no reason that the screw on the wheel end of it looks tampered with. If you can tell that it has been moved you should try to find out what the reason for it being moved was

If you use a cam, remember to run a tether. However, the tether, needs to be strong enough to hold the camera in case the tape dislodges, but weak enough that it will tear when your camera becomes hooked on something hard.
I just have a thin piece of string that attaches it to the wind visor thing in the bottom of the helmet. So it will just pull out with strong enough force, but it was strong enough to retain my camera when it fell off. I was testing a new mounting spot on the chin, but my RF1200 helmet was too curvy to accept it. 50% contact was not good enough. :)

I've found a key lanyard works well. My camera has a spot that I can thread the key ring through and then I just put the lanyard around my neck (if the camera is on my helmet) or around my handlebars if it's on the bike.

What's the best enduro bike that I could get thats cheap and reliable? I was thinking along the lines of a KTM but if another brand is better than ill take it. Im looking for more on road but want to be able to have the off road experience too.

The best 50/50 bike that I could reccomend with actual experience would be the DR650. Will easily cruise at 75-80mph on the highway (with some legs for overtaking still) and isn't too bad on trails. However, it's still fairly heavy and is a 4 stroke so it's not as high strung or zippy as a dedicated dirt bike is and won't get you through the more technical trails. Still, it's a hell of a bike for the money. Don't let anyone cuck you into getting a DRZ-400, they're fat and slow as hell. You might as well get a 650 instead.
If you have experience and zero fear, find a plated XR650R. They are screaming fucking monsters but will kill an inexperienced rider.
