I know very little about bikes but I'm getting into motoGP now. Can someone explain to me the differences between the old 500cc two stroke bikes and the newer 800/1000cc four strokes? Are the 125/250 still two stroke? How are the bikes different in rideability and engine power?

Yup, big difference from the HD's, but that just goes for the older ones. Modern japanese cruisers are oftenly HD copies, kind of lacking something unique. Just look at what they did to the honda shadow. They also got more bulky which I don't like either. I want them slightly sporty so you can still have fun. That's where my 454 comes in. If only that thing had a big brother I'd get it as a next ride. I'm no HD or crotch rocket guy so I'll be looking for something like a dual sport instead, I suppose.

Are the plug wires exposed?
If they are and the plug wires are old your the insulation will crack and leak current out. Start the bike and rev the throttle while looking around the plug wires if they are old and cracked you'll see tiny lines of arcing when it revs.

Going to attach both satnat and usb charger cable to the battery, not the lights or w/e is behind the contact relay (yes I'll use fuses)

Motorbike batteries generally don't have a very high capacity, you won't be able to charge anything for very long at all running solely off your battery.
You are better of investing in a few usb power bricks and charging them while riding.
Or I use one of these whiling doing multi-day trips, I top off my phone while making a pot of tea in the morning.
