Someone should make funeral doom metal that uses Witch House techniques on top of the funeral doom formula. Hoover synths, riffs played backwards, slowed-down samples, binaural echo effects and downpitched vocals.
No hip-hop beats though.
Of course there's the issue of hoover synths canceling out some guitar frequencies but that could be fixed with some counterpoint composition.
I think that it would be a good way to enhance funeral doom by giving it a more psychedelic and otherworldly atmosphere. Are there any bands that do it?
