Just got done listening to Adele's new album & Enya's new album.
Justin beat out Enya. How is that even possible!? Is there something wrong with my ears.

Best song on the Adele record: Send My Love (has a MIA vibe/chorus which is different for Adele)
Not even sure why that song is even on the album. It doesn't fit in with the rest of the songs at all and sadly it's the only decent track!
Holy fuck..who knew the album would be this bad? Unless you're going through a breakup or something and want to feel depressed don't even bother listening to the album. The whole album is over-singing and her sobbing through lyrics and emoting over her past relationships and younger years apparently on every fucking song. WHO THE FUCK CARE!?
Many of the songs sound really out of date. It's not a fresh album by any means.
I give it 3/10 stars and even that is being kind.

Adele has an objectively great singing voice.
Her songs are just a little (to quote Damon Albarn) "middle of the road". I hate the pseudo-epic piano chords in all of her songs, how the lyrics are very boring and trite (perhaps I'm biased because I can't relate to literally any of her songs), and I do agree that she gets credence from using "natural instruments" to appeal to the "natural" crowd.
But she really is one of the few actual talents in popular music today. Her vocals are in a very high tier. But, good vocals really aren't enough anymore...
