I enjoyed Viet Cong, Father John Misty, thought Carrie & Lowell was pretty but unnotable & was way too highly reviewed by critics, was not feeling TPAB even though I really liked GKMC, liked Clarence Clarity, enjoyed Deafheaven but think it was derivative and repetitive at points, like DG but wouldn't rank TPTP up there, wasn't really into The Most Lamentable Tragedy...I don't really know. There was a lot of other stuff that got buzz this year that I haven't actually listened to.
