Size for cuddling really depends on personal preference. I'm getting by just fine with a 12-inch plushie for cuddles. I do have a few others in different sizes, so I think the sweet spot for me is anywhere between 18-24-inches, give or take an inch or two.

Provided you have some closet space, I use a 13.5 cu. ft. rage rooftop bag to put my neysa ponies into when I have guests, great for storing plushies because the inside is soft and it's a nice quality storage bag that should last forever

I couldn't have asked for a better Derpy. Agatrix did a wonderful job, she smells good, she is super cuddly, kissable face, and the lighter stuffing makes her much more comfortable to have resting on top me than my fully stuffed LS. (Twilight also has lighter stuffing.)

Heh, and here I was 100% sure that dash of yours was fully featured, given it's appearance, whether upon arrival or after the fact. Anyway it should be pretty easy to do. I've modded a pone, pretty easy. While you are at it you might even wanna lighten the stuffing a bit.
I've seen another plush maker's outlook change over the course of a couple years as well. It's just not a hot topic any more, and they wanted to give their customers the option to actually get what they want.

Good questions, let's see... I really dunno how heavy either of them are, but about the same. I could carry Derpy around on my shoulders comfortably all day if i wanted, feels light for the size.
Seems like the faux fur over there in Polska is a bit more fragile than the stuff they have here, or at least the stuff Neysa uses. If you pull on it or pet really hard, it will shed a bit, but not from just gently petting or cuddling.
FYI that's the only picture and only time I planned on posting Derpy's ladyparts, it's not me if you see it again.
If I recall, Twilight was around $650 or 700? I forget.. Agatrix's LS are usually $800 for a typical pone as was Derpy, and no extra cost for Derpy's extras or Twi's tongue feature. Neysa didn't charge for such a complicated extra because doing it for the first time she wasn't sure it would come out great.

It's interesting how your Neysa necks are still springy. My Fluttershy's head now rests on her front hooves, as during the cold as fuck winter, I would bring up the blankets (sometimes 3-4) really high up, putting a lot of weight on her head/neck.

Well, from what she told me there is actually a tube inside that helps to support the neck, so that's probably why. There is no such thing for derpy and the stuffing is much softer so that will probably happen over time.

Neck supports will wear and lose strength over time, it's expected. No plushmaker could be expected for their creation's neck to stay stiff/springy forever unless the owner only ever had it on display. Cuddles will, inevitably, cause it to wear out or move. Tavi's foam neck support regularly slips out of place, I have to "massage" it back.

I was able to cut out junk foods such as candy bars, soda, chips, cookies
I stopped eating out (restaurants and fast food places)
Cut back on going out to the movies and other fun places to once every paycheck (as a reward for working, otherwise I'd start to get cabin fever)
collected soda cans from coworkers and family
any change I found on the ground and when I break a dollar went into a plush fund jar
as well as buy cheap and easy to make in bulk meals
I'm able to live off of less than 100 bucks in groceries that lasts me 2 weeks
plush makers are either closed for cons or have a long waiting list
you can get quotes now to give you an idea of how much you need to save up for and keep an eye out for when they are open
by the time you have half saved up or more, they might be open
Plush makers are flexible as long as you're polite
of course, the other option is to take up sewing and make one yourself
there are several plush makers that hang out in these threads and have stated numerous times that they are willing to answer sewing questions and such for people who want to give it a try

I was in your shoes a few months back. But then, a guy posted the life size Twilight you see here >>27550927 for sale on eBay. He had made her, but the buyer backed out at the last minute. He held onto her for over two years before deciding she had to go and he didn't care if he lost money on her.
I got EXTREMELY lucky on her. But you could get lucky as well. It's just a matter of planning and luck. Give it time and you may see the results you never imagined before.
