Revising Star Swirl the Bearded's spells and theories seems to be having something of a renaissance. Though with the stories focused largely around Ponyville, it's hard to say if that's actually a new trend, or if it's something unicorn scholars have been attempting with varying results through the years. He may not have been instantly recognizable to all and sundry on that Nightmare Night in Ponyville, but he's still enough of a figure to have a draw when exhibits come to town. And he's not even the only famous unicorn in the history books, just one of the most prolific.
