A few pointers. Don't be afraid to describe settings in detail. Maybe a few details of why she is so beautiful, or of anything relevant to the story. Also it's fun to write from both POV's , like what is Luna thinking in that moment.
In green text internal monologue is done like so:

Oh there was a lot of depth to the characterizations that early write friends gave her... usually though she ended up being sad, lonely, unloved, or insane... or some combination of the four. Really I just like the fanfics that were written during season 1 and between season 1 and 2 the most. The characters and universe were so open back then. Almost anything was canon, and it was a level of freedom that just slowly shrank as more and more episodes aired, each one adding to the true cannon, and limiting what could be done outside of it while still keeping continuity.
