Anonymous are not heroes, never been heroes and no one should be considered as such on a place like 4chan. Anonymous and their ideology are something that has grown on 4chan last decade, we should have dealt with them a while ago, or they should be contained in /pol/. We couldn't prevent Chanology or other Sony hacks, and we did a good job preventing the Gamergate to end being viral, it's still more or less contained on Twitter, but Patachu (amongst others) usually finds alternatives to avoid moderation or being pointed at, sneaking his toxic ideas in various /mlp/ discussions.
Being an artist with his own style gave him a name in the community, and he's got a smowly but surely growing audience who will agree with his views, even if they first came for some clop stuff. That's my biggest grudge against him.
Keep in mind this guy is shady as fuck, he's been spotted, drawing ponies in a convention last year, looks like a normal guy no one heard about. He's far from being dumb and remains modest, (if not, too modest regarding his artist rep. why.)
Now there's a lot of anons, and more and more troll artists like him.
