Maybe the history books were all written to make the past look cuter, or more acceptable, erasing/omitting important details that should have been taken in consideration, especially concerning Starswirl, and his possible affiliation with Glimmer, I like this theory.

Yes, but only because this prediction happened after the episode had already been completed. If this prediction was made before the episode's completion, the show staff would be in trouble. And if anything at all in that image DOESNT happen - and some things probably wont - then they can't read it or else they'd be in trouble.
That's why Hasbro wrote a letter back to that one little girl who sent them ideas she had for episodes, telling her that they destroyed her letter and didn't read it. They take stuff like this very seriously.

I just fucking remembered that season five has mentioned time travel throughout its episodes.
-Doctor in "Slice of Life" was telling Derpy about going back in time and he said there was a spell for it, which means this time travel spell IS well-known to many ponies. MA Larson wrote this episode as well.
-Pinkie Pie suggested time-travel to Twilight in "What About Discord" (with a Back to the Future reference) and Twilight retorted, "Absolutely not! Time travel is not something to be messed with."
