Lewd prompt: Tree Horse holds orgy pot seshes with any characters you like, anon gets invited for the first time. Pot is WAY stronger than on earth. Free lovin orgy ensues.

Otherwise prompt: Tree Horse holds pot seshes, Anon gets invited for the first time. Anon can't even feel the effects of Equestrian pot, but ponies are stoned out of their minds. Hilarity ensues.

>you and Tree Hugger had a date planned in just a bit
>you were already here
>the tree where you two met
>you were birdwatching, she was living up to her name
>needless to say, it was cute
>you're shaken out of your reminiscing when you see her approach
>she looks just as beautiful as that first time
>red dreads hanging free, her usual bandanna tied around her neck instead
>tail held high
>green coat smooth and soft
>purple eyes deep with contenment and love
>tightly toned thighs swaying with her step
>god, you loved her for a lot, but her looks didn't hurt
>"Hey, anon. Good to see you, love."
"Hey, Tree Hugger! How're you doing?"
>"I've been absorbing the good flow of nature all day, man. Couldn't be better. You?"
"I'm doing pretty well, thank you. Want to sit down?"
>"Sure thing, man." She sits next to you, leaning into you for a snuggle
>her fur is so soft
>her mane is so plush, the few hairs out of place don't even feel scratchy
>you both stare up at the sky, filtered through the leaves of the tree above
>you had just the soft rustling of the branches in the wind, and Tree Hugger to keep you company
>the whole rest of the world was empty, it felt like
>it was perfect
>blue sky, slightly warm weather, light breeze keeping things from stagnating, and soft, dewy grass beneath you two
>Tree Hugger looks up at you, a smile on her lips, and leans in for a kiss
>you gladly return it, leaning in close to smell her natural scent
>her lips taste like honeydew
>she smells like fresh rain
>light petrichor, when all the dust in the air has been pulled to the ground, and all that's left is a misty purity
>it's heavenly
>you lean in closer, wrapping both your arms around her, hand moving down her side and onto her flank
>She breaks away from the kiss, and looks deep into your eyes, pure happiness written all over her face
>"Anon... I want to join today. Be as one in the most excellent of loves. Are you willing?"

>you look at her, a smile forming on your lips
>she wanted to make love
>you nod
"Of course. I'm more than willing, Tree."
>"Most righteous."
>you kiss gently once more, tongue running over her lips, eyes closed in bliss
>you break away, but pull her closer for a tight hug
>you bury your face into her loose mane, arms wrapped tightly around her back
>her hair smelled even better
>like a forest undisturbed, motes of dirt hanging in the sunlight, the wildness of nature plainly on display
>it was almost so good you didn't want to break away
>but eventually, you had to
>a sultry look was in her eyes
>she wanted it
>bad
>you were only too quick to oblige
>your shirt came off first, and was tossed to the side
>Tree just looked on lustfully
>her tail was twitching side to side, waiting for someone to mount her
>you unzip your pants, pull them down, and repeat for your underwear
>you stood naked before her
>it's just warm enough where it doesn't feel chillier naked
>you lean down, pushing Tree Hugger until she lays on her back
>her hind legs open up, vulva glistening in the sunlight
>you're already hard, and in the right position
>her teats are erect, her dock is swaying, and her breath is becoming short
>it's time
>>
>>25510818
>you grip your manhood, leaning down and running your head along her lower lips
>she shivers at the initial contact, front hooves reaching around and gripping your neck
>she pulls you in for a kiss as you continue to lubricate your cock
>her pussy is drenched
>it doesn't take long before you're soaked
>you position it just right
>and gently sway forwards
>it barely pushes into the hot, wet hole
>just half an inch in
>she moans into your kiss
>you position your elbows beside her, and run your hands through her mane
>her pleasure increases when you rub her scalp, your unique fingers giving pleasures unfelt by any other pony
>her pussy winks, muscles contracting
>you're pulled in just a bit more
>you oblige the effort, and begin pushing just a bit further before swaying back
>you pull almost all the way out
>and come back in
>oh so gently
>oh so slowly
>feeling every inch to its maximum, every twitch in her muscles, every gasp on her lips
>you pull away from the kiss, and gaze into her eyes
>your thumbs run along her cheeks, feeling all the fuzz on her coat
>another push forwards
>back
>and forth
>her pussy winks again, and you feel her clit against your cock
>it's so tight and wet
>you push in further, until finally, you've bottomed out
>she moans at the feeling
>your waist touches her clit, and she involuntarily bucks forwards, trying to rub it against your skin

>she grips you tight with her hind and front legs, pulling you in while you buck into her
>the world seems to disappear, leaving only you and her and your sex
>her marecum splurts all around your cock with every thrust
>after just a few minutes, she leans her head back, moaning reaching a climax, and shudders
>her walls tighten, her breath hitches, and she cums
>it lasts a good 10 seconds
>you continue your pace, your orgasm growing closer as well
>hell yeah human endurance
>she starts bucking into you when she's finished, her juices running even thicker over you
>your plataeu heightens, her walls growing tighter
>she's intentionally flexing, trying to get you to cum
>it's working
>your cock twitches, flinging out a spurt of pre
>you're growing ever closer
>the sexual feelings spread out from your cock all over your body, all the way to your fingertips
>she bites her lip, tilting her head down and gripping your hips with her hind legs
"I'm cumming!" you cry
>she pulls you in ever tighter, and you cum
>oh god do you cum
>your balls tighten, your cock twitches, you moan in ecstacy
>you buck as deep as you can, and let loose
>a rope of cum shoots out, and Tree moans
>another
>another
>and another
>the pleasure courses through your veins, all over your body, like an orgasm all over you
>you kiss her deeply as you start coming down
>your cum is only dribbling out with the last few twitches of your orgasm as you lay down on your side next to her
>your cock is still buried, but it begins to soften
>you pull her in closer, your chests touching
>her fur is still soft, all matted with sweat
>her nature smell is tainted with the pure tang of sexual energy
>you're both breathing heavily, but you've come down now
>finally, with a soft pop, your cock comes out of Tree
>a trail of cum follows it, white staining the inside of her thighs

No- dreads in real life look like something a really unfortunate cat horked up onto your carpet.

Ah. My mistake. Still, it's just a simplification of a real life hairstyle, just like Shy, Ponks, Rara, and all the other ponies.

On top of that, pic related. Thicker dreads, closer to Tree Hugger. Not the same, but still much closer.

Okay, here we go.
I don't guarantee for quality, I'm a bit tired.
~~~
“Finally...”
>Opening the door to your office, you sluggishly scuffle inside and throw your heavy winter jacket onto a nearby chair before you listlessly approach your desk.
>Today was exhausting to say the least and it is far from over.
>Your gaze falls on the somewhat huge stack of unfinished paperwork, blank reports and unsorted documents.
>Paper warfare... Your favourite.
>With a quiet groan you sit down and give the papery pile a quick look-over.
“Hmm...”
>It seems that it mostly consists of simple reports you just have to fill out and then sort. So you should be done relatively quick.
>Luckily.
>Yawning, you consult the clock on your wall and have to assess that it is already a quarter past five.
>If you don't hurry up and begin immediately, it will be well after sunset before you are able to leave this damned office.
>So you grab your favourite pen and the topmost sheet of paper and get down to work.
“Lets see...”
>You are Anon.
“Case number two thousand and thirty eight. Culprit's name... Carrot Top...”
>Human, amateur chef, part time alcoholic and proud member of Ponyville's guard unit.
“Age... twenty four. Colour of coat... Light yellow. Colour of mane and tail... Bright Orange. Cutie mark... Three carrots.”
>And you love your job.
“Name of offence... Unarmed assault. Okay... Detailed description of events... Fuck this shit.”
>Usually.
>>
“Towards four o'clock in the afternoon we received several reports that two mares were in a verbal conflict at the market place over the last...”, you groan, “Bushel of apples.”
>You love doing all the actual guard stuff, like patrolling, standing sentinel over whatever event just takes place in town and warding off the occasional bandit raid or timberwolf attack.
“Which quickly escalated after the culprit began to insult the victim.”
>But this... You despise this.
>Even if the next part is kinda funny... Should you include this?
“Hmm...”
>It's not really appropriate for a report though...
>Eh, why not.
>It's not like that anyone will ever read this again.
>At least not any time soon.
“She whipped the bushel out of the victims hooves, paid the sales pony and then proceeded to walk away. Thereupon the victim accused the culprit of only buying the apples so that she can shove them into her coltfriendless cun-... Vagina.”
>Heh. Sometimes paperwork can be fun.
>But sadly this is only seldom the case...
>Sighing deeply, you stretch yourself and check your cup's contents.
>Some cold coffee is still left in it... You normally aren't down on it, but the coffee here is warm already shit and could be classified as literal poison when cold.
>Better get a fresh cup and then continue with your work.
>...
>>
>>25528425
No problem man, glad people have been enjoying my subpar scribbles.
Tree Hugger is one of my favorite pones though, and I kinda want to do a full-detail drawing of her. Anyone have any ideas?
>>
>One hour has passed and you managed to get roughly a third of the stack done.
>You should at least do half of it before you go home or you risk your free weekend.
>And you have a few things planned on it... Mostly sleeping in and getting pleasantly drunk with one of your friends.
>Well... Friends. You honestly only have two real ones.
>But not because you are a human, oh no.
>There is another one living here and the ponies like him well enough.
>He goes by the name of Mous and lives for quite a bit longer than you here in this lovely town.
>Coincidentally he and his marefriend Rainbow Dash, part of the elements of harmony and self-proclaimed most awesomest pegasus alive, are the aforementioned friends of yours.
>It's not like you didn't try to make some more, but...
>Most ponies are not to keen on your rugged looks, gallows humour and tendency to solve problems with force.
>Relics of your past here in Equestria...
>Unlike your friend who got integrated into the pony society the nice way, due to the fact that he appeared right in the outskirts of Ponyville, you had the immense luck to materialise in the jerkwater town of Tirek's Crossing somewhere in the eastern swamps.
>What happened there is a story you never told pretty much anyone and would love to forget sometimes, but it also made you the way you are today.
>The details don't... matter. What matters is that you ended up in some mercenary corps and spend the next three years of your life as a blade for hire.
>A path that led you to Ponyville where you met Mous and promptly abandoned your mess mates after he proposed you to stay with him here.
>You lived for some time with him and Rainbow until you got hired as a guard thanks to your combat experience and bought yourself your own abode from your first pay.
>And the rest is history.
>Good times... At least most of them.
>A sudden knock on your door rips you out of your thoughts.
“Yes?”
>>
That's "part" one. More to come.
>>
>With a quiet creak the door opens and from behind it emerges a well known face.
>It's Soaring Thunder. A colleague and somewhat good acquaintance of yours.
>You wouldn't call him a friend, but you share a few ciders after work with him from to time at the local watering hole and talk about the important things in life like mares, weapons and money.
>The middle aged, dove grey pegasus enters your office and greets you with a tip of his faded red cap and a chipped smile.
>Something he owes to a diamond dog bandit's mace, back when they used to raid Sweet Apple Acres for supplies.
>You... Your unit was able to drive them back most of the times and when they had to retreat for the fifth time in a row without any loot to carry home they left and probably looked for an easier target.
>At least that is what you hope... There are rumours and reports of shadowy figures stalking the town and its outskirts in the dead of the night.
>Preferably you would have pursued them right after they showed signs of leaving, but that decision was not in your range of authority.
>That's a job for the Royal Guard apparently.
>Sadly...
>Anyway.
“Hey Soaring.”, you return his smile and beckon him to come closer, “What can I do for you?”
>”Greetings, Anon. How are you doing? Still working I see?”
>He closes the door behind him and trots to your desk with his signature limp.
>The last gift of a timberwolf to him before it found its end on the blade of Thunder's spear.
>You chuckle and kick a chair out for him.
“Yep. Work never ends, yunno? Especially paperwork.”
>Soaring pushes it back in and shakes his head.
>>
“Huh? You're in a hurry or what?”
>”Kinda... Sorry mate. I just wanted to ask you a favour.”
>A favour?
>That's a rarity.
“Uh... Of course. What is it?”
>The stallion fishes a thin, brown folder out of his saddlebags and throws it on your desk.
>”Could you take over a case for me?”
>In an instant the smile on your face vanishes and a muffled groan escapes your lips as you cross your arms.
“Eh... I don't know. I have a shitload to do myself as you can surely see.”
>”I know, I know! But my wife practically begged me to come home on time for a change. Her dragon of a mother is visiting us and she wants to dine out...”
>He sighs.
>”By Celestia... That mare is a fury I tell you!”
>Snickering, you take a sip of your now lukewarm coffee.
>Meh... Even lukewarm it is unfit for consumption.
>That's why you usually get your caffeine fix from Sugarcube Corner... But today you didn't really have the time since you overslept.
“I feel you, Thunder. Want me to arrest her? I'm sure I can find a reason to warrant that.”
>Thunder bellows a hearty laughter and waves you off.
>”Oh how I would like that! But I fear that would cost me my wife and I have grown quite fond of her over the years.”
>Aww, how sweet.
“Okay. Just hit me up if you change your mind. But still...”
>He snorts and inspects the pile of paperwork on your desk.
>”Yeah, yeah. I gotcha kid. What do you have here?”
“Uhm... Mostly unfinished reports and some other shit that I still have to pigeon hole.”
>”Are the reports from this month?”
>You nod and pull the reports in question out of the stack.
“Yep. The bulk is from that smuggler ring we busted last week and the rest is some minor stuff like theft. “
>>
>With an unbelievable speed he snatches the sheets out of your hand and stashes them away in his saddlebags.
“Hey!”
>”I will tell ya what, kid. If you take over this case for me, I will fill out all these reports for you. I was involved in them anyway so it doesn't matter who fills them out.”
>Closing his bags, he beams you a smile.
>”So whatcha saying? Do we have a deal?”
“I guess... You kinda decided that on your own just now though.”
>”Eh.”, he blows you a raspberry, “Don't be like that. Actually you should be thankful that I freed you from all this boring red tape.”
>Heh. Where he's right, he's right.
>Chuckling, you hold your hand out and he puts his hoof in it to seal the deal.
“We have a deal. Thanks then.”
>”You're welcome and thanks too. You really saved my ass here... My wife would tear me limb from limb if I'm tardy tonight.”
>You retrieve your arm and kill your coffee off before it turns into cold poison.
“What or who is this case about anyhow?”
>”The name's on the folder mate. So use your eyes. But I think you know her already. She's kinda a regular here.”
“A regular, huh?”, you say and take the file into your hands.
>Tree Hugger... Yep, that name rings a bell.
>”Eyyup. Anyway, I'm sure you can handle her. Gotta go now. Thanks again mate.”
“No problem. Greet your bandage clip from me.”
>He chuckles and shoots you a wave before he heads for the door.
>”Will do. Should I send her in on my way out?”
“Who? Your mother-in-law? If she is only half as bad as you told me, better not.”
>”Nah. Tree Hugger, ya dolt.”
“I know, I know Thunder. Please do.”
>”Okay mate. Have a nice evening for me.”
“See ya.”
>”So long, kid.”
I can kind of see where this is going. I like it. It reads like a book, despite the green form; I really love it! Anon and Soaring have very natural dialogue, which I like; I have a very difficult time with dialogue, but you seem to have it down pat. Good work, keep going!
>>25529880
Dang, man! That's some good-ass art! I love the imperfections from the penciling, it gives the whole thing a home-y feel to it. Feels kind of like GlacierClear, but looser; which is always a good thing.
I think the only thing that could be improved is behind her nose, that one line is a bit too close to the tip of her nose; it needs to be more sharply curved towards her face, but it still looks almost perfect.
Feeling kinda sad/shitty tonight. Gonna write a little about this wonderful stonerponer to hopefully make myself feel a tiny bit better.
>You flick your cigarette over the cliff edge, sending a burning glob of ash spiraling down into infinity
>Exhaling, a plume of smoke curly out from between your lips, thick and gray in the autumn air
>A chill seeps into your bones as the heat of the smoke leaves you, and you fold your arms over your belly, suppressing a shiver
>Just as you raise the cig to your lips again, you hear the sound of leaves crunching behind you
>Turning, you find that your favorite solitude spot is no longer so solitary
>A green pony stands at the edge of the treeline, violet eyes sparkling in the starlight
"...hey?"
>"Hey, man. Is it cool if I join you?"
"Uh... sure? Pull up some cliff."
>You scoot to the left, patting the spot next to you
>She trots over, the moonlight illuminating thick red dreadlocks, falling in matted curls around her withers
>In her mouth, she carrels a small cloth bundle, which she places on the ground before sitting next to you
>"Sorry if I'm bugging you. Just... felt like finding a place to myself, y'know?"
"I know what you mean. Just feels good to get away from it all for a bit, you know?"
>"Yeah, man, exactly..."
>Her voice is bright and smooth, like well-polished mahogany
>"And, like... I dunno how to put it into words, man. The connection to nature up here is unreal, man... you can see the forest in every direction, Ponyville looks so small..."
>She takes a deep breath, brushing her dreads out of her face
>"Anyway... what are you smoking, man?"
"Just cigs."
>The pony pulls a face, opening her bundle
>"Those things are terrible for you, man. These things, though... these'll heal your soul..."
>She holds the open bundle up, revealing a row of neat, paper rolls
"What's that?"
>"Lacebloom leaves. They're, like, an opiate, but... mellow too. You wanna try one?"
"Eh... it's not gonna give me cancer or anything, right?"
>"Not any more than those."
>The pony points at your cig, a wry smile on her face
"Got me there. If you feel like sharing, sure..."
>She holds up one of the rolls
>"Go ahead, man. You got a light?"
"Yep."
>You pull out a small lighter (magic-based, it's just a narrow metal cylinder capable of producing intense heat at one end) and hold up the lit end to the strange pony, letting her light her smoke
>She takes a long drag, the smoke curling up from her nostrils
>It smells tangy and sweat, nothing like the acrid burn of cigarettes
>"Ah, man..."
>She sighs, wrapping her tail around herself
>You light your own, taking a puff
>It tastes a lot like it smells, slightly sweet with a hint of sour, more like drinking tea than smoking
>Almost immediately, the effects of the smoke hit you, and a sense of calm settles on your chest
"Wow..."
>"Yeah, dude..."
"That's... shit, what did you say this was called?"
>"Lacebloom. It's pretty hard to find, but if you can get it..."
>The pony makes a weird circular motion with her hoof, which you take to be some equine equivalent of a thumbs up
"I'll have to keep an eye out."
>You throw the remainder of you cigarette over the cliff, watching it make the hundred foot drop to the trees below
>>
>>25533253
>The pony takes another long drag, her eyelids fluttering as she exhales
>"So, dude, what's your name?"
"Anonymous."
>"Anonymous? Like, your name is that you have no name? That's pretty trippy, man..."
>She takes a shorter drag this time, letting the smoke curl out from between her lips as she speaks
>"I'm Tree Hugger."
"So you're a pretty big fan of trees?"
>"Heck yeah, man. I like trees more than most ponies."
"Meaning you like trees more than most ponies do, or you like trees more than you like most ponies?"
>Tree Hugger chuckles
>"A little bit of both I guess."
"Nice."
>"It is, man. You can learn so much from trees."
"Really? They don't talk to me much."
>"Nah, man... you're just not listening properly."
"Maybe they should speak up."
>Tree Hugger smiles, fake-punching you in the arm
>"You're a riot, dude. But seriously, though. Just listen for a moment."
>Tree Hugger crosses her hind legs, closing her eyes and perking up her ears
>You try to assume a similar position, ears straining for any sound, soul waiting expectantly to be touched by some spiritual presence
>It's... kinda underwhelming
"Eh. Not getting anything."
>"You sure? Just, like... feel the forest, man. The trees are so sleepy, now that it's autumn. They're ready to hibernate through the winter, and they're looking forward to spring."
"Yeah... maybe I just don't get it."
>"Hey, Anonymous? Can I ask you something, like, weird, man?"
"Weird? How weird?"
>"Like... a little personal?"
"Um... sure, I guess. What's up?"
>"Like... I don't mean to pry, man, but... there's something up with your aura, dude."
"My aura?"
>"Yeah, man. It's like... there's this big, bright light, all full of colors and shapes, it's so pretty... but in the center, there's this ugly, spot. Are you... like, okay, man?"
"I... yeah, I'm good."
>"You sure? Like, if you don't wanna talk about it, that's cool. But you can tell me, dude. I'm a good listener."
>She fishes around in her little cloth bundle for a second roll of Lacebloom, maintaining eye contact the entire time
>Eventually, it's you who's forced to look away, staring instead at the drop stretching beneath you
>Even after coming here weekly for almost a year, it's still enough to make your palms tingle
>In a world where you constantly feel too big for everything around you, it's uncomfortable to be reminded how tiny you really are
"I mean... it's just been a rough couple of days."
>"Yeah? I can believe it, dude. What's up?"
"Eh... just stupid shit. Missing people I shouldn't miss."
>"Yeah? People from back home?"
"Um, yeah, actually. How'd you guess?"
>"You're not from around here, man, I can tell that much. Your aura's, like, way too different. Did you have, you know, some special you had to leave behind?"
"Sort of."
>"Sort of?"
"Yeah. She... she was a lot more important to me than I was to her. And it kind of just occurred to me the other day that, you know, she probably doesn't miss me as much I miss her."
>"To chill?"
"Yeah."
>"You... you sure it wasn't to do anything stupid... right?"
>Both of you instinctively peer over the edge again, beholding the abyss stretching below your feet and her hooves
"You don't mean like-- no, yeah, I'd never... no. It's... it's just a spot to hang out."
>"Alright, man. Like, if you were though, I won't judge. Just... wanna help you if you need it."
"No, I'm not that bad. But, I guess... I guess I like coming up here because I could, you know, do something stupid if I wanted to. It reminds me how easy it'd be and, well... it kinda spooks me away from it, I guess. I mean..."
>You peer over the ledge again, noting the line of jagged rocks at the bottom
"Yeah, fuck no. I don't have the balls for that."
>Tree Hugger's giving you this weird look, holding the unlit roll of Lacebloom in her mouth
>"You... you sure you're alright, man?"
"I'm fine. Just a little gloomy."
>"I dunno, dude... that spot in your aura... it worries me, man."
"It looks worse than it really is, I bet."
>"Maybe, but... I dunno, dude."
>Tree Hugger lays a hoof on your hand
>"You promise you're tell me the truth, right?"
"I am."
>She raises a single bushy eyebrow
>"Really? It feels like you're lying..."
>He hoof presses against the back of your hand, and her gaze seems to bore into your soul
"I mean... there's other stuff too, but... I mean, you don't want to hear about it, right?"
>>
>>25533611
>"I wanna hear anything you wanna tell me, man. What's the matter?"
"It's stupid, honestly. It's just... I guess I don't really feel like I fit in here. Aside from, you know..."
>"The obvious reason?"
>Tree Hugger gives you a little smile, and you realized you haven't lit her Lacebloom yet
>You fish your lighter out of your pocket, and ignite it
>She nods gratefully, taking a long puff
>Your own joint has burned down to almost nothing; you finish it off with one more long pull and flick it over the edge
>Tree Hugger lets you take a drag on hers, her hoof lingering against your hand as you take it from her
"Aside from that, yeah... I dunno. I just don't get so much of this world. No one seems to make of me, like I'm just some giant novelty to all of my friends. I walk into a room and the conversation always dies. It's like they're afraid, or something."
>"Afraid of you? Shit, dude... that sounds awful. Like, have you tried to show them you're an alright guy?"
"I try. But I don't think I've done a very good job. They always just seems so skittish. And when they're not skittish, it's like... like I'm an oddity to them. I try to make conversation, but they talk to me like I'm a stranger. Or a kid. I know they don't mean anything bad by it, but... I dunno. Shit hurts."
>Tree Hugger nods
>"They don't mean anything bad, man. They just... they don't get it, dude."
"I guess that's one way of putting it."
>"No, like, I'm serious. So many ponies just don't get it. They get so wrapped up in image, dude. Everyone cares so much about Cutie Marks, about money, about where you're from and where you're headed..."
>She takes a long, thoughtful drag on her joint, letting the smoke puff out of her nostrils
>"They don't see the real pony inside the pony, you know? They can't see the soul. It's... it's really kinda sad, man."
"Are you saying you can?"
>"I'm pretty sure I can. I try to, at least."
"So, what do you see when you look at me?"
>"But... I see the same thing in you that I do in your aura, man. I see a good person, but... a good person who's weighed down with a lot of bad vibes... you know what I mean?"
>She scoots in closer to you, her wither just barely bumping against your shoulder, and stares into your eyes
>"Like... I dunno man. It's like there's something inside you that just won't let you really be *you*."
"That's... that's a pretty good way to put it, actually. How did you...?"
>"How did I know? I dunno man, I just know sometimes. I can read ponies -- or, whatever you are -- just by being around them. It's like... a gift, I guess."
"Seems pretty cool."
>You start fishing for another cigarette, but Tree Hugger places her hoof over your hand
>"Don't do that to yourself, man. Here."
>She hands you the last of her Lacebloom
"Nah, you've been way too generous already."
>"I insist, man. You need it more than I do."
>She presses the Lacebloom into your hand
>"Just make it count, alright?"
"Alright."
>You light the thin paper roll, holding it up to your lips and taking a deep, long breath worth of its tangy smoke
"This stuff is amazing..."
>"I know, man."
>Tree Hugger finishes off hers, giving a lazy smile
>"A lot of ponies tell me, "you shouldn't need drugs to be happy, Tree Hugger. You should be happy just being you." But what they don't realize is that it's not always enough to just be you. Sometimes you need a little help."
it's ok, anon, you can still write her the same way
Just include your own spin on things! Maybe she's only herself when stoned, so saying "be yourself" means "take drugs." Or something, IDK, I'm no genius
>"Sometimes you can get that help from nature, you know, but other times... you gotta find someone else."
>She bumps you with her wither, shaking her dreads out of her face
>"Know what I mean?"
"I think so..."
>"So there's no shame if you can't make yourself feel happy. Because there's always someone out there who can..."
>Tree Hugger lays back on the grass, crossing her forelegs behind her head
>You do the same, letting your feet dangle over the edge of the cliff
"Do you have someone like that?"
>"Oh, yeah. Don't get to see her much, but she's still there. And that's enough for me, most days."
"What about the other days?"
>"On those days, I have those."
>She points to the half-burned joint in your hand
"So... is today one of those days?"
>She sighs
>"Yeah... I guess you could say that."
"Shit, sorry to hear that."
>"Nah man, it's all good."
"What's bothering you? If you don't mind me asking."
>"Man... I don't even really know. Just feeling down. Missing ponies."
"Yeah?"
>"Yeah... freaky coincidence, huh?"
"Maybe. Or maybe this is just a good spot for sad, lonely saps like us."
>Tree Hugger lets out a low, steady chuckle
>"You might be on to something there, man... can you feel how lonely the trees up here are?"
>You close your eyes, again straining for any touch of some spiritual, natural presence
>And -- maybe it's just the drugs -- you actually feel something
>A small trickle of somber solitude drifting in the air, seeming to seep back into the grass
"Woah."
>"Yeah, dude..."
"Is that... is that real? Like... Jesus, that's freaky..."
>"I know, man. Just let it in."
>The tree's sorrow seems to thrum in the dirt beneath you, holding you in place like a magnet
"That's so trippy..."
>"I know, dude..."
>You hand Tree Hugger the burning roach of the joint, and she finishes it off, burying the ashes in a tiny mound of it
>"That's why I love this spot so much, man. These trees... they've been here since before we were born, and they'll probably still be here after we're both gone. But even they can get lonely too..."
>She rolls over, resting her weight on one foreleg while using the other to pluck at the grass
>"It reminds me that it's okay to feel alone sometimes. Because, eventually, someone'll find you. Even if it's just for a few hours on a hill, someone will always find you."
>She pats you on your shoulder, then shakily gets to her hooves
>"Anyway, dude... I should probably get going. A friend of mine is waiting for me."
"Yeah... I should probably head home too. I love this place, but I don't really wanna sleep here."
>"You don't? Man... not gonna lie, you should give it a try. It's pretty nice."
"Heh. Maybe one day."
>You're about to stand, but Tree Hugger lays a hoof on your shoulder
>"Hey, Anon?"
"Yeah?"
>"I know we probably won't see each other again. But, do me a favor, okay?"
"What's that?"
>"Remember me. Remember what I said. You're a good person, even if life tries to drag you down. Even if it feels like no one else cares, there'll always be someone out there who does. Even if it's just a stranger you met on a hilltop for a few hours."
>>
>>25536609
"...thank you, Tree Hugger. I mean it. You're... you're a pretty cool pony."
>Even in the darkness, you can see her blushing
>"Aww... you're too kind, dude."
>Tree Hugger wraps a foreleg around your neck, pulling you into a hug
>You squeeze her in return, inhaling her earthy, incense-y scent
>"Take care of yourself, okay man? Because someone out there cares."
"Yeah. Yeah, you too."
>You give her one final, shorter hug, and she turns, walking away on slow, somber hooves
>Just as she reaches the treeline, she turns to wave, and then disappears into the darkness
>You linger for a few moments more, staring out at Ponyville as the lights slowly flicker off, its citizens laying themselves down for bed
>Maybe it's the drugs, maybe it's talking to Tree Hugger, but *something* has you feeling a lot better
>Not perfect, of course
>It's not like all your problems are going to disappear now
>But... you feel a little better
>Because, even if might never see her again, someone out there cares
>And you've got someone to care about too
>The door closes behind your colleague with the same high pitched creak as before and you decide to have a quick flip through Tree Hugger's file to get an idea why she is even here.
>Something you probably should have asked Thunder before he left, but... Eh...
>Mistakes were made.
>So... Lets see.
“Hmm.”
>Her records reveal nothing too interesting... She is twenty two years old, works in some wildlife preservation organization and lives, judging by the attached picture, a very alternative lifestyle.
>You would say that most ponies do that, but maybe that is just you and your history on earth.
>She seems to have a bit of a drug problem though.
“Possession of Crownroot... Cultivation of Crownroot ... Possession of Burning Desire?”
>Huh? As far as you know the latter is not really an offence.
>Burning Desire is basically just a hardcore aphrodisiac and can be bought in virtually every pharmacy.
>If you have the money of course... That stuff is expensive as hell.
>Not that you ever bought some... But Mous feels the immense need to keep you updated on his sex life whenever he is drunk.
>Including on how he spices it up.
>It's a bit annoying but also makes you kinda jealous.
>How long has it been? Two years? That one gryphon with the kink for blood?
>By god... She loved to sink her talons deeply into your back while she rode you like there was no tomorrow.
>>
>Her screams you will never forget... As well as the way she licked the blood of her claws after the two of you were finished.
>What was her name? Swift Claw? Yeah... That sounds familiar.
>It wasn't her real one though, just the alias she chose for her existence as a mercenary.
>Yours was Sundowner. Not exactly imaginative but your customers loved it.
>Made you sound... Strong and deadly.
>Didn't she fall victim to some warlock? Or did she just retire?
>You can't seem too remember.
>Why though?
>...
>Anyway... Those are bygone times. Back to the here and now.
>Maybe she sold it? That's prosecutable when you don't have a license.
>At least you think so.
>Yeah... You are not really as up to date as you should be on the law. You are more the physical problem solver type of guy.
>Okay. So it is safe to assume that...
“Yep.”
>She's here for another drug offence.
>For the possession of Crownroot again. Looks like this mare never learns.
>Meh... Soaring Thunder could really done this himself. Just fine her, thrust the pamphlet about the dangers of drugs into her hooves and then send the mare on her merry way.
>Equestria's laws on drugs are not exactly strict as long as you don't decide to sell them or have a habit of consuming the more dangerous ones like cockatrice bile or Idru grass.
>>
>The former is just highly addicting but the latter has the nasty tendency to turn the pony who overdose on it into frenzied berserkers who cannot distinguish the ones they love from the nightmares they hallucinate and try to defend themselves from.
>An aftermath of such a trip is not what you would call a pretty sight... Especially when the addict was an unicorn.
>Magic is both a fascinating and terrifying thing.
>Your shoulder hurts...
“Damn.”
>How much did she carry with her anyway?
“Just half a gram... Eh...”
>That's almost nothing. You wouldn't even arrest a pony for that quantity.
>You take a smell at the enclosed paper bag.
>Smells... Savoury, not unlike thyme and rosemary but with a bit more sweetness and a hint of citrus fruits to it.
>Not bad... You wouldn't mind a scented candle that smells like this for your bathroom.
>Putting the bag away again, you take a look at the clock that hangs over your office's door.
>Half past six... Roughly thirty minutes of sunlight left.
>Even with Thunder taking the bulk of your paper warfare out of your hands, you still have quite a bit to sort and file.
>Speaking of time... Where is she?
>She wouldn't dare to ju-
>* knock *
>Phew... There she is.
>For a moment you feared you had to add a pursuit to your to do list.
“Come in!”
>And for the third time on this busy evening your door opens, strangely enough without its signature and annoying creak this time, and a green earth pony mare comes walking through it.
>”Greetings.”
>On a more or less straight line much to your astonishment.
“Miss Hugger, I assume?”
>Most drug convicts don't have the decency to do that and stumble wildly through your office, knocking your poor furniture over and sometimes utterly destroying it.
>”You would be right on that assumption.”, she says and quietly closes the door behind her.
>Not even a slight drawl or stutter. You're impressed.
“Wonderful.”, you beckon her to sit down with a wave of your hand, “I'm guard Anon. Take a seat please.”
>”Gotcha.”
>Tree Hugger takes a moment to admire your office and then begins to sluggishly approach the chair you've pushed out for her.
>Each step of hers is planned and calculated several moment in advance. Probably with the intention of giving you the illusion that she's sober.
>Which she clearly isn't... If her tread didn't give her away already, her red eyes or wildly flickering ears would have done that now.
>Typical signs of a pony who recently consumed quite high amounts of Crownroot.
>But she seems rather confident in her act, so you don't say anything.
>Finally she reaches the chair and climbs onto it with some difficulty and toil.
>That goofy smile she sported all this time never leaving her lips.
>Kinda cute to be honest.
>Between you and Canterlot, you can see the newly constructed CMC treehouse
>those three adorable fillies had contracted you with the high, high price of 2 bits to construct the treehouse
>with some help from AJ, you'd obliged
>within an afternoon, it was completed
>quite the cute shack
>behind you, green stoner pone approaches
>she sees the sunset, closes her eyes completely, and just soaks it all in
>she was feelin it
>"Dude. This is quite the peaceful feeling. Getting some particularly rich vibes from Celestia tonight, man."
"It is a beautiful sunset."
>"Not just that! Look at all the places surrounding it! The towers, the hills, the grasslands between us and the biggest city in the world. Man, it's so overpowering. Makes you feel small, right?"
"Heh, yeah. I guess. I'm not too sure. I just enjoy the landscape."
>"Right on, man. Good on yah for feeling it in that way."
"I never got your name. Mine's Anon." You extend a hand
>she puts her hoof into your grip, and shakes
>"Tree Hugger. Quite a blessing to meet you on this evening."
"I feel blessed the same, Ms. Hugger."
>"Hah, just Tree is fine, man! Always wanted to be one."
>yeah, definitely stoner pone
>>
>>25549659
Sorry, I'm having a difficult time writing the next one. It's dialogue heavy. Which is really fuggen hard.
>>
>>25550046
>"So, Anon, what brings you up here this fine evening?" she asks, smile on her lips. Her tone is totally even, without sarcasm or excess excitement
"Well, I just came up here to think about life for a while."
>she nods
>"Quite the motivation, Anon. I do the same, really, after my walking meditation up here."
"Walking meditation?"
>"Yeah, man. You just pay attention to all the little happy details. Empties your chakras, makes your aura quite vibrant."
"Heh, if you say so. You're quite the odd pony."
>"I don't doubt it. I get that a lot, but it's not really a bother to me."
>you look out at the skyline again, taking a deep breath in
>"So, Anon, if you don't mind me asking, what do you think about up here?"
>you pause
>this is hard to talk about. But you haven't made any progress with it by yourself. Might as well get another voice, right?
>"It's okay if you don't want to talk about it. I can sense your aura dampening, and I do apologize for that. I was just curious."
"No, no. I have needed to talk to someone about this."
>"Someone?"
"Oh, right. Somepony. Sorry, still getting used to it."
>"No worries, man. So what's up?"
>all your worries, troubles, and misgivings about life come rushing back
>you close your eyes, sorting out how you were going to say this out loud
>>
>>25550138
"Well, I've been thinking about what's right and wrong, right?"
>"Like, morality and stuff?"
"Yep. More specifically, I've been thinking through what makes a happy life."
>she laughs, but very gently
>"Anon, that ain't hard, you just gotta do what makes you happy."
>you laugh right back, your voice tinged with bitterness
>if only it were that simple
"Tree, that's the problem. What makes me happy? I've done nothing but serve others around me for the past year that I've been here. I built the CMC's shack, helped AJ with repairs around the farm, and allowed Twi to run various magic tests. That's just a few of the things; the actual list is insanely long. I stayed up every late night for a week just to help Fluttershy get over her fear of the town square. She had run out of carrots, and we built up going there earlier and earlier, so that she could buy Angel's favorite food."
>"List goes on, eh?"
"Exactly! My parents, see, they raised me, and told me, 'hey, anon! Life is all about making everyone else happy. That's the only good thing in life. When you're doing good, you'll feel good.' Sure, it feels nice to help someone! But I end up exhausted and totally spent whenever it goes on like that. I feel like, hey, it's nice seeing someone grow as a pony. But I spend everything I am, and I'm just exhausted. All the time."
>she remains silent, just staring at you with a totally level expression
"I just try to be a good person, like my parents taught me to be. But I come up here almost every day, looking out at the town I've built up over just a few months, and I can't feel anything but sadness that I have to go back at it the next day."
>>
>>25550333
>you pause to take a breath
>your voice was shaking near the end, and a few tears had already fallen down your face
>you sniff, brushing them off on your sleeves
>you weren't a pussy
>time to bottle it all up again
>fuck, you messed up again
>Tree looks at you, and extends a hoof to rest on your knee
>she pulls herself closer, and wraps her forelegs around your neck, pulling you into a hug
>you pause for just a moment
>nobody's done that, not quite the way she did it, in years
>fuck, you can't keep it together after that
>>
>>25550349
What do ya'll think so far? I'm going to write the next part soon, but I think I need some feedback about how it is so far.
>>
Hey, nice dubs. Thank you, kind stranger! I think I'll be pooped for the night after the next post, but I'll keep going tomorrow, too.
>>
>>25550626
>she holds you, pulling you into her mane as you cry it out
>she smelled very much like a horse, but you weren't gonna complain
>your tears keep flowing, the stress of post months finally released
>you feel the weight you've been ignoring for so long again
>it's overwhelming, and all you can do is cry onto this stranger's shoulder about it
>finally, the flow of tears slows down just a bit
>you've soaked the end of one of her dreads, but she doesn't seem to mind
>she just pulls away a bit, looking into your eyes, with hers full of concern
>"You got some really heavy stuff you're dealing with, don't you?"
>you choke out a laugh through the tears
"I guess you could say that. Sorry. I shouldn't cry like this, I've only just met you."
>"It's okay to cry about it. Sometimes it gets too much for all of us. Sometimes, life sends us strangers so that we can cleanse ourselves, and deal with what comes our way properly."
>you sniffle, tears finally slowing down to a reasonable pace
"What do I do, then? I've done all I can with service. I've helped everyone in town in some fashion, and I've supported a few for way longer than I should."
>"You want my advice on what to do?"
"I guess so. I'm feeling like that's an okay idea now, to be honest."
>"Well, you feeling alright? Because I'm not gonna give some vapid statement that means nothing, Anon. If you're asking from advice from me, you're gonna get it."
>you nod
>you're ready. You've carried this weight for far too long
>>
>>25550767
>"Okay, Anon. Here goes. I'm just gonna tell you what I do. I don't know if you feel the same. But I'm gonna give it a shot."
>she adjusts the way she's sitting until she's facing you, her forelegs holding your hand and stroking the back of it softly
>"Look, man. Being happy isn't helping others to your own expense. Being good isn't that. Helping others until you're miserable only makes you, well, miserable. The only way to make your life good is to treat yourself well. I don't know what that means for you, but in general? You're gonna need some food, friends, and free time. The three f's are not anything fancy. Just what I do, but I have another f."
>before you can ask what it is, she continues
>"I live with four of my friends in a house by the edge of the Everfree. It's quiet there, and we're all happy. I just want to extend an invitation, as an act of kindness. I feel for you, man, and I think everyone deserves happiness. My home is your home, and you look like you need it."
>you pause
>you'd started sleeping on the streets because you felt like a burden to Twi
>she really didn't have that much room in the library, and you didn't want to make anyone's life any harder
>but here, Tree Hugger was offering to take you in just because she felt you were unhappy
>did you want to go?
>back on earth, you were basically signing up for rape and then murder
>here, though, you still don't know if violent crime is a thing
>it's never happened, not even once, in the whole 8 months you've been here, and ponies don't even have locks
>there wasn't a risk there, then
>so what did you have to lose?
>>
~~~
>And for the third time on this busy evening your door opens, strangely enough without its signature and annoying creak this time, and a green earth pony mare comes walking through it.
>”Greetings.”
>On a more or less straight course much to your astonishment.
“Miss Hugger, I assume?”
>Most drug convicts don't have the decency to do that and stumble wildly through your office, knocking your poor furniture over and sometimes utterly destroying it.
>”You would be right on that assumption.”, she says and quietly closes the door behind her.
>Not even a slight drawl or stutter. You're impressed.
“Wonderful.”, you beckon her to sit down with a wave of your hand, “I'm guard Anon. Take a seat please.”
>”Gotcha.”
>Tree Hugger takes a moment to admire your office and then begins to sluggishly approach the chair you've pushed out for her.
>Each step of hers is planned and calculated several moment in advance. Probably with the intention of giving you the illusion that she's sober.
>Which she clearly isn't... If her tread didn't give her away already, her red eyes or wildly flickering ears would have done that soon enough.
>Typical signs of a pony who recently consumed quite high amounts of Crownroot.
>But she seems rather confident in her act, so you don't say anything and let her have her fun.
>The harlequin green mare finally reaches the wooden sitting device and awkwardly climbs onto it. That goofy smile she sported all the time never leaving her lips.
>>
>Kinda cute to be honest.
>One of her hooves slip off the smooth, polished surface and she barely saves herself from harshly meeting your office's cold stone floor.
>”Whoa!”
>You sigh and open her file, pretending to read in it so you don't have to witness this tragedy.
>At last she overcomes the perilous climb that is your twelve bit Neighkea chair and lets out a satisfied sigh.
>”Wehew.”, she chortles and wipes bead of sweat from her forehead.
>Lets keep this short and sweet. There is still some red tape just screaming at you to finish it.
“Okay, now that you finally have arrived...”
>A slight blush appears on her cheeks.
“I suppose you know why you're here.”
>She shifts around until she gets into a comfortable sitting position, giggles and then shoots you a wonky nod, causing some of her dreadlocks to fall into her face.
>”Oops.”
>Snickering like a mad mare, she brushes the matted strands of hair out of her field of view.
>”Better... And yeah. I got, like, caught doing something I wasn't supposed to do.”
“Exactly. According to your record here, it isn't the first time we caught you doing that either.”
>Tree Hugger snorts.
>”Well, what can I say... Either I seem to attract you guys like flies or I just suck at hiding.”
>Or it could be her smell...
>Not that she reeks or anything like that, but she is devoid of any artificial fragrances and thus preserved her natural, somewhat horsey, scent.
>>
>Unlike most other ponies who shower or wash themselves with overly flowery or fruity shampoos, she appears to just use water instead.
>Honestly... You quite like it.
>Reminds you of your times with the corps... No one had the zest nor the money to wash themselves with anything else than water either.
>Almost all of your pay was almost instantly spend on repairs and alcohol, preferably of the hard variety.
>And sometimes on the occasional easy lass.
>But that's not the current topic.
>A stifled chuckle escapes your lips and you close her record, shoving it a bit to the side.
“Well, you wouldn't need to hide if you just would quit your habits. But...”, you lean back and cross your arms behind your head, “I think you heard that sermon several times by now, so I will spare you it and just cut straight to the point.”
>She titters and cocks her head.
>”Righteous~ How much?”
“Given that you only carried about half a gram with you and your past offences are of a similar nature and by far nothing I would call “Threatening to the Equestrian society”...”, you put your last words in air quotes, eliciting a giggle from the mare, “Either... Lets say... Twenty bits and you are free to go.”
>That's pretty much a symbolic gesture so you have something to write into your report and looks like you have properly done your job.
>Ponies like her are harmless. They just want to be left alone and enjoy their chosen way of relaxation in peace.
>Unlike others, often of a much higher social status than her, who you encountered in your life as a mercenary here in Equestria.
>And as long as they don't do the dangerous and unpredictable stuff or wreck your possessions you are fine with whatever they want to do with their lives.
>>
>You have done far worse, so who are you to judge?
>Also she has a job and doesn't sit on her rump all day and gets high off her, to be frank very well formed and aforementioned posterior.
>So why unnecessarily bother her?
>”Whoa! Really, dude?”
>She claps her hooves together, marvelling at the sound they made for a moment and then beams you the widest smile you have seen in quite some time.
>”That's like the least amount of dosh anypony has ever fined me for smoking the Crown!”
>Snickering like a filly who just has discovered that Hearth's Warming Eve comes with presents, she opens a small bag that hangs from her neck and fishes one golden and two silver coins out of it.
>”Here ya go!”
“Thank you.”
>You take the money out of her hooves, open a small wooden box on your desk and throw it into it.
>The moment the coins make contact with the rest of the box's monetary contents, it snaps shut and a brightly shining number flashes up on it.
>It reads: Four hundred and thirty two.
>That's the current amount of bits that it holds. When it exceeds five hundred you have to submit it to Mayor Mare so she can add the money to Ponyville's funds and finance another stupid project of hers.
>Like the renovation of the town hall that was so desperately needed or the relocation of all blacksmiths and shops that sell materials for the more combat oriented schools of magic into the outskirts of Ponyville so the town is more appealing to tourists.
>To your mind that mare is crazy, but ponies voted for her so there is not much that you can do.
>”Heh!”
>Tree Hugger though is visibly impressed by this simple enchantment and shows this by whistling loudly and somewhat out of tune.
>”Never gets old!”
>You laugh quietly at her silly comment and put the box away in one of your desk's many drawers.
“Believe me, it does. Especially when you see it every day.”

"Ok, Tree Hugger. I'll try it out for a night. I'll do my best to contribute."
>"Oh, man, really? I'm so glad! It's not often that we get another soul in our commune."
"Yeah, really. You want to head off? The sun is almost down, we'll probably be unable to get there by nightfall."
>"Sure, man. Let's take off."
>You take one last look behind you
>The sun is barely behind the horizon, most of its radius still above the landline
>As you turn back down the mountain, you see the stars begin to twinkle on the opposite side
>Twilight was a beautiful time
>The walk back down the mountain was uneventful, and fast
>The sky was still light by the time you reentered Ponyville, and the street lights still hadn't illuminated
>But one by one, they came on, earth ponies lighting every lamp post, spreading like wildfire through the central city
>There weren't many, and they were relatively dim, but it was still beautiful and alien seeing the town in such a different way
>Tree Hugger knew exactly where to go, barely even looking ahead of her as she trotted forwards
>You just followed and enjoyed the night
>Not even speaking
>Just taking it all in, smelling the slowly chilling air
>With winter approaching, it wouldn't be long before you'd have to start wearing layers
>You could already see your breath
>God, it was beautiful
>You put your hands in your pockets and refocused on the journey
>You two were out of ponyville's borders now, headed just barely east of Fluttershy's cottage
>>
>>25559749
>It was closer to the town, but it was still pretty isolated
>Finally, you got over a small hill, and you could see it
>It was a thatch house, just like the ones in central ponyville, but slightly larger, cleaner, and with a huge garden surrounding it
>A few apple trees (you could tell they were seeds bought off the Apple family. Top quality wood, there), a ton of carrots, potatoes, and a clump of tomatoes
>Despite the hippie stereotype you associated her with, the gardens were actually very tidy
>Perfectly well taken care of, with all the dirt segmented into squares, and a proper irrigation system set up
