The pleb taste of the casual audience certainly is what killed Obsidian's chance of making another meaningful contribution to the actual Fallout franchise. I guess I'm more of a fan of RNG than I should be, even with how much it fucks me over sometimes. I just love getting that super rare item early in the game and wiping the floor with enemies for most of the rest of the game. Luck builds in 2/NV were fun as fuck too, and I like the perks luck gives you in 4, but I can see how it's not a great stat to put it all into.

Personally I can't really enjoy relying on random chance, even if having higher luck increases that chance, because I obsess over being able to control the actions I take and the outcomes. It's borderline OCD and drives me to try to save every npc I can or set up the best place for them to live. I ended up spending several hours just building up Sanctuary and making sure it had enough food, water, and defense. But I had fun being the one setting up the place.

Anyways, any ending that ends with you taking over the thing can be a huge hit or miss.
I almost want a mod that just makes it where you can build your own robot pone (and color them) while giving them a tape to give them their personality. Have a full on robot pony at your side and stays relatively close to the Fallout universe.
