Alternative if you want something that's complete, though as a scenario, it seems somewhat lacking in creative crossover shenanigans like you might have seen with X to X. The main draw is Muv Luv Alternative, which goes through most of its plot in the first half and generally dominates said half--tying a little into Orgun, I think, before the second half focuses on originals and doing other series plots, though it's all stuff that's been seen before like Dancougar and Zambot and the like. Though it's still fairly entertaining and has its moments, stuff like tying in Machinery Children to Daitarn plot or having Shin Getter awaken and help during the Muv-Luve finale.
Nova is the one I've given the most playthrough so far, and seems pretty enjoyable, having three series (The Moon, whatever Rayieza's from and Kannozuki no Miko or whatever) that are new and doing some interesting things, like having the early plot be the 64 plot of earth being taken over by aliens (mainly Layzner) and going from there, combining 64 plot with R, Compact 3, and some more OG stuff with the rest of the anime. It's most recent update involved fighting Zuul and upgrading Godmars into a form based around the Big Fire/Giant Robo Gaia/Godmars.
GS I haven't played much of, but I think it's a bit similar to Nova in some ways. It does seem to enjoy giving you a lot of extra units to indulge in pilot-switching, I'll say that much.

-Hagane destroyed so we get a new ship based on the Air Christmas for Tesuya
