My first language is Mandarin, I can pronounce German and English names correctly, but I just can't do any other's. I still can't properly say Dostoyevsky, it's just hard. I was saying Pynchon wrong forever until somebody pointed it out to me last month. I've been told I have a slight accent and everybody I speak to understands me. Only been speaking for 3 and a half years.
Fuck French names too. I first saw Descartes and read it like it was Mexican.
