Honestly, I don't think genital dysphoria is an essential component of being trans. Moreover, it can still rear its head when in daily life it hasn't shown itself before. I was neutral towards my genitals until I actually started dating, and then it became very immediately obvious that sex was weird and wrong.
Don't let people tell you that you need srs to be trans though, that's ridiculous. All it takes to be trans is persistent dysphoria and need to be perceived as the sex opposite one's assigned sex. If you don't have to go through painful surgery to feel normal, then you lucked out.

By 20 you'll be next to done with your puberty, at least the growing part (pretty much only your shoulders that are still widening, and some facial features). May still be salvageable, but it's going to be hard.
I don't think age 42 is average anymore, I'd believe the age is quickly being pushed down. You have to look at it year by year, what age all the new transitioners are.
