Considering the general population also vastly use these technologies, do trans not have equal rights to them?
There are some flaws admittedly. For one, it could be a too broad categorization, as almost everything in our lives are the result of technology, therefore we are all cyborgs. In rebuttal, for trans, this technology is perhaps the most voluntary manifestation on their bodies and psyche?
Secondly, my comparison lacks historical particularity, as transitioning has possibly existed long before these new medical technologies.
Furthermore, it's like saying all who drink at the water fountain have equal rights to it. Is transitioning a need similar to the need of water? Or is it something beyond base desires to construct a meaningful existence?
