I'm an assistant teacher in a 2 year old classroom at a private school. I'm broke as fuck, but I really like it.
I went to school for geography though and would probably be happier doing something related to digital cartography, urban spaces or the environment. Trying to go to community college to get my basics and possibly go into the dental hygienist field because its biggest pay out and least amount of school.
So far I have 4 gen ed classes under my belt. Those 4 classes cost me $3,500 books, lab fees and campus comp included. I became a bit dissatisfied because I spent all that money and technically havent even done a full fucking semester. Thing is, I've written short stories that I look back at and hate how I wrote it, but they were published and got great reviews. So it has to be at least in part just my massive lack of self confidence and imposter syndrome.

Even if you hate something you wrote, dont delete it and put it aside - try and write the scene again from a different angle, a different perspective. Maybe write the scene just before it instead to get a different feel for how things play out.
