I would say Glock is probably the most ubiquitous pistol in pop culture. Colt SAA if we're talking cowboys.

Not sure what you are getting after with 'meme gun'. If you mean like the actual definition of a meme as some sort of idea within a community or whatever it is then the G19 could fit that. If you on the other hand mean what people usually mean on the internet as some silly, viral thing that you are probably thinking is over-rated or something then the G19 doesn't fit that at all in my opinion. It is one of the best handguns ever created.

Because tons of people just repeat Glock marketing slogans even though almost all of said slogans apply to tons of other guns as well. Glock has a brilliant marketing team. It is like if Jeep convinced millions of people to say things like "Jeeps get you from point A to point B" and "I love my Jeep because it goes from point A to point B", etc. When people talk about Glocks they almost never say anything distinctive about Glocks.
