PRO: Built in left mag release, looks nice.
CON: I would have to install a Redi-Catch. Could only lock the bolt from the right side without a mag in. Would have to buy an upper later (sold out).
Some cheap forged lower, $100 or less
PRO: Cheap, strong for it's weight
CON: Have to cut it up to install PDQ for right side bolt catch activation.
I've left out all options that aren't available, even if they meet my criteria (ADM, LWRC IC).

Works pretty well. It's solid and was easy to mount with. Also came with both railed and smooth top clamps so you can pick your preference. I haven't really tried taking it on and off though, so I can't speak to how well it holds zero after that. It held zero fine after the gun was bounced around on a washboard road for miles though.

I'm right handed, the right side bolt catch/release feature is just indisputably a better placement for right handed shooters. Unbelievably, people still argue that improving the placement of these controls is retarded. A cheap ass lower with a BAD lever is better than most "not really ambi" lowers.
The KAC lower only allows for releasing the bolt from the right, it doesn't lock it back. It's also an $800 lower for not good reason (without the upper).
