The recoil bruised my shoulder, which can happen if you don't know what you're doing. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. Got the barrel nut out of my raill by soaking it in mineral oil for a couple hours then tapping it out with a plastic handled broom stick inserted from the muzzle end. No damage. Also the anti rotation tabs do fit the recesses in my upper, thanks for the arg people who verified those measurements.
