It was entertaining to see mud flying around while we were shooting, and they were amazed by it. Cleaning them afterwards was also crazy satisfying, and gave me an opportunity to fully disassemble them and explain how each weapon works.
Though my finger got caught between the disconnector and hammer and I couldn't get the hammer to move without hurting my finger more; I had to just rip my finger out. It was caught on the end of the disconnector that holds the hammer so it too a decent chunk of skin with it.
