I'm building an AR chambered in 300blk with a 10.5" barrel. I am also going to use a suppressor on it. (I'm currently waiting for my Octane to be released from jail, but I plan on doing a form1 SDTactical build for a dedicated rifle can)
Any suggestions on a muzzle device when the suppressor isn't attached?
I was looking at the flash suppressor or muzzle breaks from SDTA.

I've been watching many videos on the YewToob from user NSZ85 about how to do shit. Fortunately he has a video about installing the Geissele Mk8.

On mine I used a combination of a small foam knife and a heated foam cutter. The electric cutter was overkill, I think. It did make some of the edges more orderly, but you'll need a mask and air circulation unless you enjoy breathing in melted foam fumes.
The foam knife worked relatively well. First I used chalk to outline the gun and things, then uses a ruler to help me cut mostly straight.

Im sure this is asked 100 times a day here, but are polymer lower receivers ok or not? They seem to have decent reviews but i have no personal experience with them. Was thinking about buying a complete one for $100ish and probably replace the plastic hammer and stuff with better metal parts down the road, or should I invest in an 80% instead?

more weight and bulky, but it's more personal preference. I have an ar with 10" quad rail and like it just as much as my keymods or regular polymer handguard builds. I like the look of quads though

mlok is also good, just have to choose it or keymod especially if you plan to do more builds it is best to have them all be the same. I started with a keymod so i just stuck with it so i dont have to buy mlok and keymod stuff
