My AR dropped off of a ~3ft. high table at the range and landed on concrete on the sight and it folded one of the wings on the rear sight, which easily peeled off by hand once I touched/poked at it.

I know Nodak makes an M16 prototype lower and they also make a prototype upper with a trigger charging handle, but I'm coming up blank on the muzzle device, gas block, stock, and grip. I'm just trying to help but if you actually wanna stop being miserable you have to take steps yourself, like seeing a doctor or reaching out for support.
Look into cognitive behavioral therapy and/or see a doc about antidepressants. You don't have to live like that. Depression works very insidiously and the thought patterns it causes are self reinforcing. Coming out of it was like coming out of a coma for me, felt like I lost so much time. But you can get better, it's not easy but its possible.
Also reminder to /arg/ to stay positive and don't be afraid to seek out help with any mental/emotional problems you have. Better to do that than to breakdown and get committed and lose your funs or killing yourself.
It's annoying when you try to help from a position of experience with depression and get shut down.

So I picked up a PSA complete lower on the cheap during Black Friday. I just got it in and I need to start thinking about an upper now. I was thinking of building an ultra lightweight upper because most of the family property is mountainside. Hell, to get to the long distance range, you literally have to climb a rope up the side.

A shorter pencil barrel with a pinned muzzle device and a light handguard like a KMR or ALG would probably keep things really light, especially if you stayed irons-only or something like an Aimpoint T1/Trijicon MRO/Primary Arms Micro.
I think PSA does 14.7" barrels, which with a pinned standard A2 flash hider come to over the legal 16" requirement. If you can find one in a pencil profile, that'd be pretty damn light.

37mm Cobray launchers look like ass hanging down 5" from the barrel and it's not worth the money, tax-stamp, and registration for what is now essentially a smoke/flare launcher in 40mm ever since chalk rounds got declared as DDs.
I'm building the clone almost strictly as a functioning replica. It's not trying to be a practical rifle.

An alternative I just found in ~2 minutes of googling is a 37mm clone of the M203 made by a company called RDB. Haven't found a whole lot on it, other than it doesn't hang nearly as low as the cobrays and looks a lot closer to the M203.
I only managed to find classified ads for used ones, so it might take some patience to find one, but it'd be a thousand times cooler than an airsoft one.

Yeah the Omega is pretty chunky at 1.56" diameter and the ASR lock ring is just slightly larger than that.
Here is an old pic with the KAK flash can which is 1.36" diameter and 3.25" long, I could see the warden in a similar configuration if it fit.
Those protrusions on the inner diameter of the CASV are just for the screw in mount points for extra rails, if you weren't using them you could grind them down.

Was at the range wiff my AR yesterday, banging the steel at 585 yds (pretty big plate, but still felt good.) bretty gud day. Muscle- bound bro shows up in brand- new riced out Camaro with blinged- out AR. I'm talking burnt bronze, brand name was some cheesy tactical death thing with a skull on it, upper and lower were fancy shapes. Had a gold plated BCG and spiral cut flutes on the barrel. Nikon M223 on top. Guy was nice enough, but I couldn't help but laugh as he tried to zero the scope. Rapid fire to "make groups" when he was all over the dirt berm, when he did adjust his scope he'd just crank on the knobs as far as they'd go. My friend went over to help as best as possible, but he was doing so many things wrong it was for naught. Felt bad, he was a nice enough guy, but it was pretty funny to watch. Definitely had more money than patience or finesse. Kinda hope he takes a basic class or something.
