Also much like Megurine Luka apparently a majority of the fans prefer cutesy squeaky voices so they'll gravitate more towards Miku and Rin. Admittedly when I hear Luka's voice it's kinda hard to think what kind of songs are good for her sultry voice, something slow and sensual I reckon. Luka's got a number of good things she can do with her voice and range - although sure, many fans probably do prefer something closer to a young girl's voice than Luka's more mature/haughty one. As a Lukafag, I definitely think she'd do well with something slower, or maybe even more acoustic (without going super melodramatic). I haven't found much acoustic Vocaloid songs at all, let alone Luka ones.
She's good with non-pop rock too.

I found out too late about the 2014 concert and decided to go at the last minute cause why the fuck not (change of plans despite wanting VIP tickets because I know I would have issues viewing the concert, which I did - inb4 manlet). After the show was done I had to hustle back on the NJ transit last train back or be stranded in NYC tired as fuck.

The whole thing sucks. The trip like that isn't something I would organize having only 3 months(if the results of lottery is known at the end of May and concerts happen on August). Especially because I'll rather take friends with me. Miku's concert is the main reason why I'll go, so if I didn't win the lottery it will be really not nice to cancel the trip and I won't have enough money to try next year.

Gaijin tickets were named so you couldn't pass those without being there yourself and the limit was 2 per person.Domestic lottery and the "normal" sale of tickets is a hassle. Kind of depends more specifically what you want. There's noise isolating and noise canceling, which is what bose excels at. However, bose is a little lagging on the sound quality itself so there's better options if you go noise isolating. Bose will basically nullify airplane noise though. Bose quiet comfort series is really good for that. If you go noise isolating, you have to consider between closed headphones or IEMs. If you have the money, you can even get custom IEMs molded to your earshape for a really good seal. All these options will give excellent noise isolation. What pricepoint are you looking at?

Hotel 31, it's about a 15 minute walk from Penn and 20 minutes to the Hammerstein. I'm a little worried about bedbugs because it's on the cheaper side but I guess I'll be careful with my belongings.
