The thing is, people in brazil seem to love the idea of communism in general. When I tell them that's not the dream they have about it, they dont seem to understand it and call me crazy because they think all europeans are super rich and there's no such things as a hard time during communism nor in europe mainland.
I have the theory that communism was a good solution for the fast industrialization eastern europe was in need by the time, but still it seems like the damage it have done to the people were not worth it.
Italy was shit too during the post war era, but things got better during the marshall years.
