The fertility rate in South Korea and Taiwan is actually a margin lower than Japan and crude birth-rates are almost identical in all the countries.
South Korea and Taiwan will both decline at relatively similar rates to Japan though Japan will remain over double or almost 6x large than the two respectively.
Japan has a far larger electronic market share than Korea, and you can't measure construction but I was in Tokyo 2 months ago and there seemed to be plenty of cranes about. Not forgetting of course that there are always a large number of major large building projects approved and under construction over the next few years.

Since when are facts infatuation. I have been to Japan plenty of times, the cities are still bustling and there is ample construction going on, I am well past any infatuation its a nice country though.
Korea is about a decade or two behind Japan it faces the exact same structural and cultural issues that Japan will face in its workplaces and its demographics. Except its going to hit the demographic one a bit sooner desu. Not only that but it is geographically and population wise irrelevant in comparison so doesn't have that going for it.
Korea is in for a rockier road in the future, however they can hopefully learn from what Japan decides to do as they will need to follow that path.

I have a question for the Japanese users. I k kw the question is silly, but I feel like knowing to humor myself.
From what I know about Japanese citizenship laws, one cannot have Japanese citizenship si ply by marrying a Japanese national, or being adopted by a family, or even being born within the country. Citizenship is granted by blood. If Japanese blood flows through your veins and arteries, your are by all rights, a Japanese citizen, even if you are not of that culture.
So theoretically speaking, if I had a blood transfusion from a Japanese person, would that give me Japanese citizenship by the right of Jus Sanguinis, right of citizenship thru blood?

Theres a few books I wanted to read, especially the ones by Ira Ishida . I want to read the I.W.G.P novels (not the manga or drama, even though its good), akihabara@deep, and everything else. Theres also this book by Shintaro Ishihara (he hates gaijins lol) but apparently it was really good, so I want to learn enough kanji and grammar to be able to enjoy literature.
Aside from that I doubt im going to japan in my lifetime, too expensive, and dont have any professional contacts or social contacts there....oh well.
