dont forget to post terrifying shit as well, scary war images are best images
I'll post a couple to get the ball rolling for you.
>WW1 and WW2 continued
Ermm, that wasn't the theme of the threads.
>>941632
>horrors of war
But all the WWI pictures pretty much made it such.
>you will never capture a panther
>you will never learn how to operate it on the go
>you will never be a makeshift tanker
>>941635
I'm not the Op. Is it really a big deal?
>>941637
No, not really.
First thread: Show me the horrors of war, /his/
Second thread: Post images and text depicting the horror of war
No specific war. Majority of photos come from those wars because the photos are more readily available, but people were posting others. The point of the threads was literally spelled out in both OPs.
>>941647
No it doesnt matter, its now a WW2/1 images general
>>941647
It's annoying because it's not an actual continuation of the previous threads. And it makes it so non-WWI and WWII images or posts could be reported and deleted from the thread as being off topic.
These guys probably froze to death because they did not have winter clothing
>>941649
I was agreeing with you.... All the while pointing out how fucked WWI was that it's the poster war for horror.
>>941663
kek, thats not me
Not sure if this was posted in any of the other threads, but picture showing three German men trying to save a French soldier from a sink hole. As far as my knowledge goes the man was probably shot, that usually being the only merciful way to save him from drowning in the hole was no other was was possible.
>>941674
Nice one, do you know for sure whether or not they mercy'd him?
>>941690
Nope, though if he survives he should be far better off than his captors, as he will have to spend the rest of the war at a POW camp instead of in the trenches.
>>941713
Either way, his war was over.
>>941724
Yes, it's over. More than what can be said for the Germans.
>>941738
I am curious, are there any reports of what allied soldiers said when they walked into the concrete german trenches that had electricity and everything?
So what's the thing on the right, /his/?
Low-level bombing by RCAF.
Canadians in Sicily.
9.2 inch coast artillery guns.
RCAF crew, Wellington bomber.
