It would highly depend on the fact wether Marathas were going to remove Kebab completely, because toward the end of the 17th century, Marathas were coming to power and were launching offensives against the declining mughals and would have eventually adapted the ideals of Akhand Bharat and Hindu Desh which were in its formative years in those days which became RSS and Shiv Sena of today.
