Here is the actual cut for Liru:
1944yen ($18) total cost: 144yen goes to JP government (8% sales tax), 500 yen goes to dlsite and 1300yen to seismic
The doujinshi industry makes over $700 million per year and growing.
That industry doesn't need english speakers money to survive.
We don't need to make up some story about how /h/ has to come together to send money to seismic on patreon or paypal or else he starves.
But what buying it will do is decide whether Seismic, and other doujinshi creators watching, thinks paying $700 for subtitles was a worthwhile investment or not.
If you want say "hey, there is a paying english speaking market interested in this stuff here!" then go ahead and buy it.

No, it works straight out of the box. Just run it, go into options and select English, and you can say goodbye to moonrunes.
If anything, Seismic should have put the "English" option written in english in the japanese menu, not in kanji (英語). This way people who can't moon can reach it easily. In the same way the "Japanese" option should be written in kanji in the english menu. Same thing for the popup help on those same options.
