For those anons that keep having that issue of the grey box I figured it out.
I'm running Windows 10 64 so it might not work for everyone but here it goes.
Right clicking Liru.exe.
Select the Compatibility tab.
Run the Compatibility troubleshooter.
I'll tell you that there's an issue with it and if you want to try changing the compatibility, select yes and press the "test program" button. It should run or at least it did with mine.
