Guys I need your help. I am in need of a new computer and don't know sh*t about the subject. Is the ASUS ROG GR8-R098R good for a 1.100 euro price tag? And how well does it fare in comparison to the other desktop pcs on the market right now?

absolute garbage, as most prebuilts are

don't even bother unless you enjoy losing money

Even if you don't plan on building your own you should learn enough about them so you can make an intelligent decision.

Is there any pre-built desktop on the market right now that is considered good
>>
>>53877507
It is super overwhelming at first Anon. But take the time to read the material and ask questions. Make a build and have others critique it.

Again, even if you don't want to assemble your own you can still learn a ton by going through the motions. Then you can know what is shit and what is needed.
>>
>>53877416
i like that case. would be good as a home theater machine/console with old outdated parts i have lying around.
>>
>>53877525
It's all shite, you're cheaper building a same spec pc yourself than building a stupid ass-us republic of gamers prebuilt piece of trash.
>>
>>53877489
>go to logicalincrement.com
>pick the build that fits your budget
>find a site in your region that lets you chose the parts and build the PC for you if you don't want to do it yourself

done.

PC means personal computer
buying pre built pc is like paying somebody to decorate your house in a way that may not be what you really want

>do some fucking research on pc parts
>build your own
cheaper and better quality plus its EXACTLY what you really want

That's Chinese tier stuff, don't waste your money.

Also the processor is garbage the 2011 x220 thinkpad i5 is superior in all aspects, you can literally check yourself.

If I were you OP I would buy an i7 - 6700 paired with w/e video card faggots here suggest.

But if you're from Romania which you might be - If I were you I'd go with buying these:

http://olx.ro/oferta/kit-1155-i7-2600k-asrock-z77-extreme4-16gb-2x8gb-ddr3-2133-hyperx-ID5WWbO.html#c3113aecb6

i7-2600k
16 gb ram 2133
And AsRock Z77 Extreme4 which is so good and so hard to find nowadays just for 381 usd

Pair it with Sirtec EP-700 BR-II or modern sirtec equivalent, a cheap case and the latest NOCTUA cooler and you have fucking cheapest gaming build you can find which is 5 times better than what you wanted to buy...

Also you can buy a 750 ti, I found one for 76 usd on a website... or anything else you want, maybe this - is very good video card:

Fuck off dumb frog, was funny tho.

>other desktop pcs

In order to compare them, the piece of shit you're considering would first have to be a desktop PC, as opposed to a shitty non-standard case crammed full of cheap laptop parts.

Don't waste your money.

>>53877416
It's shit.
Your better off waiting for the new NUC and then buying a thunderbolt GPU adaptor.

A build in your budget that I would build if I were you:

PCPartPicker part list: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/ZHDkkL

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1230 V5 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor (€273.26 @ Mindfactory)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X150-PLUS WS ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (€113.57 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Memory: G.Skill Aegis 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory (€42.07 @ Mindfactory)
Storage: Crucial BX200 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (€66.90 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Storage: Hitachi Ultrastar 7K3000 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (€69.95 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon R9 390 8GB PCS+ Video Card (€326.02 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Case: Phanteks ECLIPSE P400 ATX Mid Tower Case (€76.83 @ Mindfactory)
Power Supply: Super Flower Golden Green HX 650W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply (€86.90 @ Caseking)
Total: €1055.50

It can do everything well for a nice budget. I'm glad consumer motherboards exist for server sockets since it lets you use the Xeon E3 1230 V5, which is identical to the i7-6700 just without an iGPU, for much less than the i7-6700.

I know you're not going to just buy all these parts exactly as I have them lined out, but well, you should.
