The thing is, though, as much as they are suckers, they most of the time can afford their high tech shit. They work a job that pays enough to let them spend their cash on snake oil audio equipment, and even though I might think of them as stupid people, they are not the butt of the joke.
They probably look down on me as I earn peanuts compared to someone who can waste $10k on some bit of cable.
I'm not saying I want to be like them, but I can't really cringe at people who are doing better than me.
