Can we take a minute to talk about mobile posting? More and more frequently I'm seeing when posting via phone that my IP range has been blocked due to abuse. I'm seeing it more and more frequently. What does this mean and why is this happening? I didn't break any rules or anything.

The IP range is being used for abuse. Probably some curry panini spammer in the range. This happens to me on desktop often too.

Yeah that happens to me every now and then when I'm using my data plan.
I usually get a ban message for using proxies but after refreshing the page it always works again.
Mobile users can jump IP addresses by flicking airplane mode on and off, thus they are often range-banned.

I think every possible IP my phone can use is blocked from /a/, but now I'm seeing other boards like /g/ starting to do it as well.
It shows on my phone too but once I checked my IP for what it was banned and there was something like "posting feet in assholes thread"
Happens to me regularly on UK Three network. It is funny to look at what someone's got banned for though. Last time I think it was a gif of a dude pissing into a grill's spread asshole.
