recently upgraded to 100mbit but later realized that my trusty wrt54gl only does 50, thinking about replacing it with pic related.

The stock firmware is garbage(check their forums if you don't believe me). The custom firmware has weird issues like the 2.5ghz radio not working at all. I would not recommend one unless you like fucking around with open wrt as a hobby.
I just got pic related a couple weeks ago (inb4 Netgear) and it's been pretty solid so far.
