I'm more productive with vim keybindings, regardless of the actual editor I'm using. Most editors have vim plugins, even emacs.

If you do any kind of coding or use the command line at your job, definitely yes. It's painful to start but you will be more productive within a year :3
It's not that hard to learn since you'll probably know to enter insert mode, exit with or without saving and delete lines.
Are you constantly editing large files from your terminal (e.g. ssh into server and editing configs)? Then yes, learn the basics.
If not, then no, just stick with whatever you have.
Depends on your goal.
Learning vim key binding and editing modes would makes you editing text faster, with no doubt.
Just learn the basics. I never went past that and still use vim keybindings in other editor / ide that support them. A couple of days is well worth it.
