is G402 bad?
SS Rival 300 is only in decent tier because of its build quality, right?
>>

>>
>>55612429
See if you can try them out.
I was skeptical about the G502 (coming from a G500) because of how edgy it looks but I'm glad I bought it, they didn't make it for you to stare at, they're made to fit your hand comfortably.
>>
>>55612429
What's the G402 sensor? And no, the Rival 300 is in decent tier because of it's Sensor, I created this tier list based on sensor accuracy because of FPS and RTS games, but also who doesn't want a mouse with high accuracy and no acceleration or prediction?!
>>
>zowie in decent tier, not god tier
>all those literal who and neo-logishit in god tier

Tell Zowie to step up their game and get with the times and update all their mice with the Pixart PMW 3360 and Omron Switches for the buttons.
>>
>>55612472
>>55612487
I'm still using G400s, dunno if I should go with 502/402 or Rival.

I thought Rival 100 has the inferior sensor among the other Rivals while 300 and 700 has the same.

>>
>>55612536
Is it a MLT04 Sensor? Than yes it is, when it comes to tracking, unless you reach over a certain amount of speed when moving the mouse around the mousepad, basically FPS or RTS games.

>>55612527
The 300 has one of the sensors mentioned in the asterisk, the 700 has the updated sensor that is superior to the 100 and 300.
>>
>>55612471
8200DPI R3 sensor with 41 true DPI setting ranging from 200 to 8200DPI

8 mouse buttons with 4D wheel+a button that when held down, gives a secondary action to all other mouse buttons (this button can be configured to do anything, as is the case with the others)

It has several weight adjustments depending on whether you like a light or heavy mouse

Lots of customization, you can do pretty much anything you want with any of the buttons and the lights etc.

Cable is well-made, doesn't do any annoying shit as you're moving the mouse

Biggest downside imo is the gaymer shit but it's a bit more subdued compared to some other models like g502. Also the logo in the palm area has eroded over the past 2 years that I've had it, 75% is still there though.

If you want more tech specs, see:

Should probably label that chart “Gaming Mouse Guide” since nobody who doesn’t play video games gives a shit about those criteria

I bought an MX Master without even considering latency or tracking speed since I knew it would be at least acceptable. I wouldn’t trade it for every mouse in the top row if I actually had to use them.
>>
>>55613647

You say you only use it sometimes and that it could last longer so it makes it better than my mouse that lasts 50 days with very heavy use everyday.

With this mouse I have never felt any dissatisfaction at how it tracks, and I don’t even use a mouse pad at the moment. I have a 275 PPI monitor and it’s accurate enough to do image editing on the pixel level at 100% zoom.

The idea that I’d prioritize whether or not it tracks well if I swing it around as fast as I can when I never need to do that over two scroll wheels, automatic ratcheting, three buttons, superior software, and wireless functionality is retarded.

This tier list isn't determined how fast you can move your mouse and how accurate it keeps track of your movement. But rather how accurate the sensor is regardless of how fast your move it. The Intellimouse doesn't have accurate tracking above 54 inches/sec. but it's still god tier for the same reason the other mice are, because of how accurate it tracks your movement and how it has no acceleration or prediction.

You're probably someone who uses windows and doesn't turn off enhance pointer precision and doesn't set their mouse cursor to 6/11. Enjoy your shit mouse settings.

G402 has no place in anywhere than shittier mice.

It has a LOT of jitter problems (mine included):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbaY_NlRD-Y

>Very fast movements drag the crosshair / cursor downwards slowly
>Sometimes skips a few pixels

This said, it has no pos/neg accel

I got mine as warranty from G400 with broken cord, I'd say G402 is a downgrade from G400.

tested on following mousepads:
Razer Goliathus Speed
SS QCK+
GLORIOUS EXTENDED GAMING MOUSE MAT - 36X11"

Claw/fingertip grip people seldom get mice designed for us. Seems like G9x was the last major model for it, and even that was mediocre for it (still very back heavy, and the thumb buttons are not placed well for it). Mice designers just can't wrap their retarded heads around people holding a mouse differently.

I can understand the lack of them available since they're both not very popular styles, but to make a mouse to cater to this crowd and still fuck it up is beyond dumb.

Been using the amazon.de only roccat kone pure black optical edition. It has a pmw3310, pretty much a military edition with a better shell, and unique drivers. The unique drivers actually get rid of the click delay which was a problem with the military, to lower than g300 levels. Very light, took a bit of getting used to with my big hands. The driver manager is a bit of a meme with the voice for changing DPI and the trophy system, other than that it's great.

I don't know but the dude is super defensive and butthurt if you question his decision to put Zowie mice in "decent" tier because they don't have a sensor that's as good as the new PixArt one supposedly. (Would like to see some proof of this desu)
>>
I got a Zowie FK2 some days ago, I find it very good for FPS games honestly. I used to play with a Logitech G600 before, I liked it, but it didn't respond very well to my Qck mousepad and it was a bit too heavy and big for me.

I'm the guy looking at the FK2.
The guy said it was his favorite mouse for Quake Live until he got the FK2. He looks very competent so I trust him on his word.
He says the sensor Zowie mice use have no abnormalities when twitch aiming.
>>
>>55619936
Hmm I'll be using it for CS:GO, but what about the logitec mouses on the chart? Are they better or just taste? To be honest I just need something that has 5 buttons and a sensor that won't fail me (like the mazer did by e-blue)

But also like, the ec2 doesn't have a braided wire, I wonder if it at least has usb3.0.
>>
>>55619997
The guy also has reviewed some Logitech mice. It uses an "improved" sensor compared to Zowie mice. Personally I don't like the look and form of Logitech mice. Some swear by Logitech mice, some hate them.
Why do you want USB 3.0 on a mouse?

>>55620178
USB3.0 allows for higher bandwidth and more amps. None of the above apply for a mouse. If you want zero delay, get a PS2 mouse.
>>55620211
Keep in mind that most pro gamers are sponsored. I've never bothered with steelseries. They look less flashy and more comfy, but AFAIK still require drivers to be configured.

Zowie is great in that regard. One thing one should consider before buying a Zowie mouse is that clicks are a bit noisy, at least they're surely noisier than the Logitech G600. I personally enjoy the tactile feedback of the Zowie better than the one of the G600, but it's purely subjective. As for click latency, is this even an issue? Zowie FK2 has barely none for what I can see.
>>
>>55612595
I had one, tracking is fine, but the scroll wheel is shit. Feels moist and doesn't grip your finger well. Plus no tilt wheel. I'd rate it 6/10. My fav is the Logitech G9x which is pretty much perfect.
