Does this seem like a reasonable price /g/?
http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Revolt-R777-Clearance

>i5 4600k
>GTX 1070 'founders edition' (No option for normal)
>16gb 2400MHz RAM
>2TB HD

>$1133 w/5% off and there is a $100 MiR
>>
this is the most epic pc i've seen on /g/ go for it
>>
>>55608577
I know it's a le ebin gaming pc setup but it's a micro-atx and seems well-costed so I'm just looking for other input
>>
>>55608561
U don't need 16gb of ram it's an ok price though. If you build it ur self you could say $300
>>
>>55608561
>asrock mobo
>generic PSU
>no SSD

FUCK NO
>>
>>55608561
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/gY83bj

For $90 more after all that you get a nearly 1TB SSD

Only negative is actually finding a 1070 in stock
>>
>>55608561
yes

>>55608636
asrock mobos are good
>>
What would you like to do with your computer?
>>
>>55608658
Finding one in stock is literally what makes that build not work for some undisclosed length of time
>>
Doesn't look good at all
>>
>>55608718
Play some video games, right now it's a mix of Dota 2 and Overwatch. I'm trying to get a build that can handle 1440p and possibly 4k but a small build would be fantastic as I have to move fairly frequently and the mid towers are a huge pain in the ass.

This thing looks like it can fit in my backpack and just take it on airports with me
>>
>>55608737
An SSD would be nice, what do you need 2TB for?
>>
>>55608757
Porn and Hentai. I don't go out that much.
>>
>>55608757
2TB was just $17 more than the default 1 and looking at the prices it would cost to upgrade it seems to be cheaper to buy my own SSD and put it in the system rather than upgrade through the site
>>
>>55608767
Still, you don't need 2TB for movies.
If you're going to game, you need a SSD
>>
>>55608787
You don't need an SSD for anything other than boot times
>>
>>55608601
>If you build it ur self you could say $300

No... thats why its a good fucking deal. Im not OP but this was posted on slickdeals and the analysis was done. This is pretty much the cost of parts only, which is why its a great deal since most normies dont want to get gouged on parts prices(other botique shops) but also dont want to build it themselves. You are getting it built for free and it does have a warranty.
>>
>>55608806
>games load faster
>no noise
>boot time
>>
>>55608767
Well they were selling and maybe still are selling 2 TB hitachi drives for $30, deal was posted on slickdeals.

Used datacenter pull but mine checks out with crystal disk info.
>>
>>55608810
I will say though that the $69 to go from 8GB to 16GB isn't worth it and it's better to go down to save on costs

That also being said looking on PCpartspicker it seems to be cheaper to build it on your own with the exception of no liquid cooling and no GPUs at all
>>
>>55608806
They're really nice for games with a lot of loading screens too.
>>
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/7kmhyf

The big problem is no GTX in stock anywhere though
>>
>>55608847
>it seems to be cheaper to build it on your own

It wont be unless you compromise on some parts. The analysis was done and everyone and their mom tried the "build it yourself" argument on slickdeals but it always boiled down to the pre built being a the better deal overall due to warranty, 1070 and the fact that it comes fully assembled and tested.

Being fair you have to include the cost of windows 10 if you build it yourself which is what most people left out of their pc partpicker.

Total is $1060 after discount and $960 after MiR

The alternative is I could just make my own but going through PCpartspicker the price seems very much the same but I do get 16GB rather than 8
>>
>>55608902

5/10 thanks for trying but OP build is markedly better.

You didnt include windows 10, you must account for this money wise.

You have an 80+ bronze PSU while OPs is 80+ gold

OPs mobo is far better than the B150 trash youve got.

Op's system comes pre built.

Bare in mind that OPs system will be $1033 total.
>>
>>55608964
>The alternative is I could just make my own

Its pretty much like why would you? Essentially it comes down to the same cost or slightly more for the buy your parts PC.

Ill take free assembly and testing thanks + warranty!

is iBuypower a reliable prebuilt pc company?

was looking into them and there seem to be a lot of butthurt reviews... tho from the looks of it that seems to be the case for lots of prebuilt companies. Either people love it or 1 part is defective and they want to go full Nazi Germany in their review.

so im having a hard time figuring out what the reality is, when it seem they are taking Standard parts from Major companies and throwing it together... how much can go wrong
>>
>>55608990
>buying windows
that is next level of cuckoldry.

maybe?

If you build it yourself you can get something that doesn't look ugly as fuck
>>

I don't know, I actually like the little white case
