I like XP the most, but for modern day use Windows 10
W10 + ClassicShell for W7 style menu.

Windows 7 is the best m8.

Windows 98 GUI was Godlike, nothing will ever match it.
Why is Windows classic in anything post 2000 so shit?

XP with the themes engine disabled is exactly like 2000 m8.
10 because Microcock said it's the last one.
Win2k > Win7 > WinXP > Win10.
Win2K is the pinnacle and embodiment of everything Windows IMO. Most people will say that's XP but I think XP started the consumerization that's now turned Windows into what it is currently with 10. XP was nice but people really have rose tinted goggles, a lot of XP is major shit and before SP2 was damn near unusable.
windows 7 with small icons and classic theme.
I liked XP in its day, but in retrospect, it's search ability, and security were awful. I can't believe anyone would have willingly chosen Windows XP, over the competing OSX back then.
Windows 9

Windows XP is when Windows started getting good.
Two side by side menus after pressing START?...to this day OSX is still playing catch up to that paradigm shift.

Backwards bud.

Windows 8.1 is underrated IMO.
Not perfect but a definite improvement over Windows 8.
At the time, Windows XP was great. Today, Windows 10 is good but I'd much rather use Windows 7 Ultimate. But, Windows 8 onwards the system resource usage is much more optimized as is startup and shutdown than in previous versions. Still, I'd rather use Windows 7 Ultimate.

Windows 2000. Hands Down.

Windows 2000. It feels like the last classic Windows.
