The server is running Ubuntu 32 bit, i know the location of it and i can walk pass it everyday however its locked in a room. How would i go about getting into it. I have quite a good knowledge of hacking but i cant think on how to do this. SSH is open however they obviously have set up a server key... Is there anyway i could pluck the server out of the sky and take it as i can not go head on with it. Thanks

lmao
>>55574472
ok thanks :)
Gain access to room somehow, then use this handy tool. Plug it in all the ports one by a time and you'll beat the system.

rooms locked 24/7 with sec so even if i am successful pick-locking it an alarm will go off

Install Gentoo m8
There may be a specific Ethernet port on the right VLAN somewhere in the building. By right VLAN, I mean on the management or server VLAN. Find it, nmap that subnet, try identifying SSH ports and try known attacks, they'll most likely be running outdated SSH versions.

>pick-locking
kill thineself.

ok thanks, i'll check tomorrow

The same way you hack a gibson YOU TWAT.

kys lmao, im here to learn
>>55574442
There are three kinds of "hacking":
1) Exploits (taking advantage of programming/configuration errors or oversights to gain control over the system)
2) Physical access (breaking into the room, bypassing alarms etc)
3) Social engineering ("Hello, is that Mr. Smith? I'm the county password inspector.")

i'd prefer exploiting the server however im really interested atm on physical access.
Never mind guys, figured it out
